RIP Andrew Olmstead

I didn’t know him personally… but after reading someone for a while you feel as if you do know them, and therefore, the loss is hard.

Andrew Olmsted was a blogger at Obsidian Wings, and the link below is his final posthumous entry. The Army reservist was killed yesterday in Diyala province, in the service of his country. I don’t know any more details than that. He left for Iraq last summer and he wrote an occasional blog entry for Rocky Mountain News, and he continued to write entries at ObWi under the name of G’Kar.
