Michael Hancock is up with his new ad called: “Never gave up”. I think it’s well done and provided they can get enough air time can have an impact as it simultaneously makes Michael sympathetic (likable) and seem accomplished.
Which ad do you think has been best so far?
Links to all the ads and a poll below the fold. . .
I tried to embed all the YouTube videos but Pols wouldn’t allow my HTML for some reason
Here are the links:
Boigon: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v…
Hancock: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v…
Mejia: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v…
Romer: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v…
Which leads to a poll, which ad do you think has been the best so far?

…Obviously have the most professional ads. They also seem to be the only ones with any real plan.
Boigon basically said “Hickenlooper jumped out of a plane for you, but I won’t” and Mejia just wasted money. If you wanted a 50k yard sign, he could have just set up a bunch of billboards.
I think it made Hancock seem very real — very personable. That said, I’m not sure if it makes the case of why he should be mayor. It has that Obama-esque theme of the personal story, but without the call to action.
If this is just an intro piece, then I think it works. If it’s the entirety of his message, then it’s going to come up short.
Better then Romer for sure though (I thought his just comes off as another random political ad). Pretty much anything is better then Boigon’s. As for Mejia, I’m again interested to see what’s next. Ok you got your name out there — now what?
Any of the others going to have the money to actually get on TV? I wonder if Linkhart/Spahn will try to go on right before ballots or if they won’t have the $$$
