Hancock scores major endorsement

The Hancock for Mayor campaign announced that Michael’s We Are Denver campaign has landed the endorsement of the Teamsters Union. The Teamsters represent more than 1,000 city employees.

Read about it here http://hancockformayor.com/con…

The Teamster members have seen first-hand Hancocks work as President of the City Council and know he is the kind of mayor who will best represent them. His work for the Urban League where he took a nearly bankrupt organization and turned it around to be financially sound while he was the youngest CEO ever of an Urban League demonstrated his commitment to working families and his financial management capabilities.

Hancock’s We Are Denver campaign is quickly gaining support from labor, notable republicans and some of the biggest names in education reform. With 1,000 members from Teamsters plus their families, this will likely get Hancock over 3k – 4k votes and puts Hancock in a very good position to be in the top two on May 3 where it will probably only take 25,000 votes to get into the runoff
