Denver Loses, Gains a State Rep.

Rep.-Elect Daniel Kagan, a resident of Arapahoe County, was elected by the HD3 vacancy committee to succeed Rep. Anne McGihon.

Nine candidates were nominated at the meeting:

Daniel Kagan

Aaron Silverstein

Sam Cassidy

George Brown

Judith Judd

TR Reid

Steve White

Connie O’Brien

Shelley Watters

After the first round of voting, 3 were eliminated: Watters, O’Brien, and White

After the 2nd round of voting the field was winnowed down to Silverstein and Kagan.

The final vote was 35-28 in favor of Kagan.
