I don't know why I feel the need to lie
And cause you so much pain
Maybe it's something inside
Maybe it's something I can't explain

Trivia question of the day:
Same as every other day? Nothing gets done but C-Span streams it anyways?
The VP breaks the tie.
That's in the Senate.
John Boehner arm wrestles Nancy Pelosi?
I hope that rule isn't still in place in 50 years. Eww.
The bill/amendment/motion/whatever dies right there.
Duke's answer is better, but your's is right.
In an ideal world, what Duke answered would be used to settle all disputes 😉
Yeah…I think Nancy could take him down.
Nancy Pelosi could take Chuck Norris down.
Haven't been in political circles much lately. Hope you are all well.
Had a fantastic meeting with Andrew Romanoff's campaign manager this afternoon. She is smart, experienced, thoughtful, frugal and wise. I feel so much better about his upcoming campaign knowing there is a smart woman at the wheel of the ship this time. Not only that, but she is local (not a DCCC person who needs a year to learn the political lay of the land), and was eager to hear my ideas learned from Bennet, Miklosi, Eng, Flerlage, Hickenlooper, Obama and Salazar campaigns in Arapahoe County.
I think I can sleep now. Lord knows CD6 is overdue for a win. If Romanoff and his campaign heed my advice (and the advice of others who have studied this race and Coffman's sleazey ways), this is very doable.
Chris Hayes on MSNBC is truly a fresh voice, and gives voice to real people.
Check him out in the 6:00 pm hour.
Hope this hasn't already been addressed elsewhere — it's no doubt a good idea for the Guv to order an audit of DOC records regarding sentencing, following the disastrous mistake with Ebel's consecutive sentence for assaulting a prison guard not being correctly conveyed to DOC personnel. But the mistake appears to have been made by District court staff not DOC staff, last I read. Has the Chief Justice or the State Court Administrator said anything about needing a similar audit of the work being done by court personnel in the 22 judicial districts of Colorado?
