Impressive, Polis keeps up the fundraising again.

Since the second quarter of 2007 ended tonight, and since I’m a total geekazoid when it comes to looking at fundraising numbers, I decided to follow-up on Thursday night’s post tallying the 20 hottest House candidates as ranked by their total 2007 fundraising on Actblue.com. Polis used a federal PAC created to support Democrats defeating Republicans to raise money in a Democratic primary. Good job….
Act Blue is not a PAC – It is just a donor Clearing house
“ActBlue is a Federal PAC that enables anyone — individuals, local groups, and national organizations — to fundraise for the Democratic candidates of their choice.”
http://www.actblue.c…
Or maybe if you don’t trust their own website, how about Open Secrets:
http://www.opensecre…
Or maybe you would like to go to the FEC website and look up Act Blue under PACs.
Just because Jared says he isn’t accepting PAC money doesn’t make it true.
And why so? I understand that supposedly all these funds were “earmarked” for Polis. But it was still filtered through a PAC designed to get Dems elected over Republicans…my original point. If it were any other PAC filtering money is such a way…for example a corporate or union PAC…I assume you wouldn’t have any issue with me saying that the money is going through a PAC? I don’t get the dense statement, but maybe that is because I am? Please explain.
No your understanding is wrong.
They do have a PAC but they also have a Bundle program. Just as the Victory Fund and club for growth. You can turn down the support of the pac but lets people donate to the campaign using the portal.
