Hey guys, thanks for the kind comments and well wishes. I feel great today, expect to make a full recovery. I will be released tomorrow. This was a huge surprise to me, I’m lean, exercise regularly, eat right, don’t smoke. I do have some family history of high blood pressure and high cholesterol, but my cardiac risk score is very low.
Lesson is this can happen to anyone. Do what you can to be heart healthy, and know the signs of heart attack, and act fast.
The team at Poudre Valley in Fort Collins is top notch, they had me in surgery within an hour and were done with the procedure in 25 minutes. I felt better instantly.
I really appreciate the kind words of support from Republican and Democrat friends. God Bless You all !

My son-in-law is 39 and when I heard that he has a cardioligist, I was puzzled. Seems that his dad died at about your age.

It was truly a shock to hear this happen to you. You’re young, healthy and funny! I always thought it was the humor in life that kept us healthy, but I guess we are all still very fragile.
