Ice Cream Saundae vs. Banana Split

The current crop of contenders for the US Presidency can be represented by an Ice Cream Sundae for the GOP and a Banana Split for the Dems

On the GOP side, we have ample helpings of vanilla ice cream (most of the field), covered by a layer of topping (Guilani) with a sprinkling of nuts (Tancredo)

The Dems have more flavor in their Banana Split. We have our foundation of Strawberry (Clinton), Chocolate (Obama) and Vanilla (Edwards) ice cream, covered with a topping of substance (Richardson), whipped cream all dreamy (Gore), a slick banana on the side (Biden), and an annoying amoung of nuts (Kucinich).
