   1. and realized I know nothing about this race.  I really only know Eugene Pearson (good guy).  How many seats are open??  When is the election?  Don’t get me wrong I’m sure I could do my own research but I have a local expert right here on COPols and I’m not living or voting in Boulder so…

      2. Though, probably not worth your time Larimer unless you have some strange interest in this like David and I do. 😛

         It’s a Special Election to fill the seat of Tom Eldridge who died last month.  The winner will only serve until November.  There are a dozen plus candidates, 2 or 3 of which have a chance to win and obviously would have a leg up on winning again in Nov.  All-in-all, it’s a pretty uninteresting race unless, again, you are addicted to elections and or live in Boulder as I do 😛

         1. Was the inane answers some of them had to what 3 things would you want on a deserted island. It just sort of snowballed from there.

            Had a phone call from someone today that is very plugged in politically and he thought I nailed it in the big line I did. That would be coll if I did.

2. When I called Nancy Pelosi a Neo-Con back in November 06 the ‘so-called’ intelligentsia that post on this board laughed and said…”you’re crazy”

   Crazy? Oh really.

   If you haven’t heard ol Nancy lately she’s done an about face march and is talking just like the old ‘chicken halks’ we all call the neo-cons.
