To borrow a phrase from Joan Crawford, don’t screw with Dick Codey, this aint his first time at the rodeo. He was acting governor from 2004 to 2005 after the resignation of Jim McGreevey after McGreevey came out of the closet.
Codey is one of the few N.J. pols who has favorable numbers which actually exceed his unfavorable numbers. He was apparently considering a run for the U.S. Senate seat Corzine gave up to run for Guv but opted not to do so.
He probably thought it was an old fax from the last time.
Hysterical angle from a nearly tragic episode.
