    1. Mark Hillman is an honest, loyal, accomplished professional.  IF Republicans were paying attention to their base, they would have elected the most qualified candidate by a landslide.  Instead, they elected a woman who doesn’t have half the qualifications of this fine, young Republican.

You wanted a change and threw the baby out with the bathwater.

When it all comes home to roost, Colorado, the hard-working base of (truly) Conservative Republicans will be there to pick up the pieces.  Hopefully, there will be something left to pick up.

    1. Kennedy was on TV. Hillman was not. End of story.

If Hillman had been better about saving his money and had gotten onto TV, he probably would have pulled it out.

  1. was the classiest contest in a year generally defined by mud-wrestling.  Two fine candidates, two positive campaigns. It’s a shame one had to lose.  In contrast, in most races it was a shame one had to win.

  2. Mark Hillman personifies every single thing that is wrong with the Republican Party.  Rigidly right-wing, he is one of the most polarizing figures in Colorado politics.

I’m sorry, but we need somebody with more than a high-school diploma handling our state’s money.  In terms of fiscal policy and experience, Cary Kennedy is easily the best choice of the two.  It’s not about who is the better politician or who is a “better” ideologue.  It is about who is the best-qualified.

That’s Cary Kennedy.  And Coloradoans knew it.

  3. We’ll see how you feel about it when you sober up in a few weeks.  I’ll be here to tell you “I told you so” when the wheels come off Cary’s bus.
