  1. I voted for Ken Gordon but I would be happy with either. I think both of them are going to work their okole off to make our voting in this state something to be proud of. And I think they are both competent enough and non-partisan enough to do so.

And yes I realize a lot of the problems are incompetents at the county level. But I think Gordon/Coffman will do their best to address that too.

Whichever one of you wins – I’m counting on you.

    thanks – dave

    1. for the most part the U.S. yields up upstanding people that take a lot of crap for attempting to make the country work.  My wife did a couple of tours in local govt.  It gets weird even in non-partisan small scale stuff.

  2. All the downticket races seem to be going Republican. But that’s not a bad thing, necessarily. It’ll be nice to have some civil, competent, and inclusive government for a change instead of the radical John Andrews-style gerrymander-the-crap-out-of-your-opponents nonsense we’ve had to put up with for so long.

    1. Ritter doesn’t appear to have much in the way of coattails at all.  I think the gay marriage/union issues really did draw out the conservatives – again; I wasn’t expecting them to go down to such a large defeat.

Of course, I can’t get any useful information out of the news sites this year, so I have absolutely no idea just which precincts/counties are reporting in right now – this whole thing could turn around in an instant if Denver’s still out.
