  1. Supreme Court Justice Neil Gorsuch came out as a proud drooling illiterate retard today.

"That's the one where they're supposed to look for the leather and things – and bondage – things like that," Gorsuch responded.

A women in a leather jacket aka hardcore bondage gear. "It's not bondage. It's a woman in a leather…" A "Sex worker?" asked Gorsuch

Despite Q being for Queen the Supreme Court Justice imagined if words were inserted to make it more tantalizing for him. "Gosh, I read it…drag queen?" said Gorsuch. No such words appear in the illustrated childrens book.

  2. For clarity. Find the word “drag”

The only conclusion I can think of regarding the incongruity between the reality of the book and Supreme Court Justice Neil Gorsuch statements is that he’s imagining a different book on account of dementia or something.

Look at the depiction of bondage gear on a sex worker according to Justice Gorsuch fantasy

  3. Our badass 6'3" 224 lb. übermensch just posted "Vladimir, STOP!" on social media because of recent Russian attacks on Kyiv. Wow. That oughta do it.

    1. Well, the entire social media post is SO much more compelling.  PBS article says the *resident wrote:

“I am not happy with the Russian strikes on KYIV. Not necessary, and very bad timing. Vladimir, STOP! 5000 soldiers a week are dying,” Trump said in a post on his Truth Social platform. “Lets get the Peace Deal DONE!”

International contact USED to be done by the Hotline …. no doubt Truth Social is better because … because …. well, I'm sure the White House or State Department can come up with some reason.

      1. And here's one synopsis of the peace deal, which unbelievably was rejected by Zelensky (per NYT):

President Trump and his top aides demanded on Wednesday that Ukraine accede to an American-designed proposal that would essentially grant Russia all the territory it has gained in the war, while offering Kyiv only vague security assurances. The American plan, which would also explicitly block Ukraine from ever joining the North Atlantic Treaty Organization, was rejected by President Volodymyr Zelensky of Ukraine. … The proposal also appears to call for the United States to recognize Russia’s 2014 takeover of Crimea, a region of Ukraine.

  4. The first quarter Beige Book from the Federal Reserve came out yesterday. Tenth District (that includes Colorado) contribution is hereThe observation about consumer spending caught my eye.

Consumer spending grew slightly over the last month, but with mixed activity across categories. Auto sales rose at a robust rate as aggressive pricing intended to garner cash flow and clear inventory facilitated a recent pickup in sales, which was not expected to persist. Household purchases of other durable goods also rose, but growth in spending on services was reportedly much weaker. Recent consumer spending on travel was down modestly, and contacts described future expectations as “a cliff,” with a substantial decline in travel bookings through the summer. Healthcare contacts reported a moderate decline in the use of preventative care and non-essential services. Businesses’ expectations for growth in consumer spending weakened further in recent weeks, with projected growth in household spending roughly flat on average.

Economic comments including the word "cliff" make me more than a bit edgy.

  5. Republican candidate: Vote for me because I have no faith in the federal government!

Voter: What will you do when you're elected?

Republican candidate: I will make sure NOBODY has any faith in the federal government!

(They're doing a great job at it. Fuckers.)
