Morning.
Peggy Peterson. David Dennison. Fake news, fake denials, fake contracts. Will they call Carolin Gallegos for rebuttal? Will John Barron come to the rescue? John Miller? LOCK
HIMTHEM UP!Marvel Comics were full of characters with alliterative 1st and last names – holy Peter Parker, Sue Storm, and J. Jonah Jameson! Is Tr*mp actually The Hulk? Belted by gamma rays? 'Nuff said.
Why does it just have to be "Stop killing innocent Palestinians" or "Stop killing innocent Jews"? Why can't we just get together with "Stop killing innocent people!"?
Well, I'll join you on the "innocent people" one. Maybe that only makes two of us, but it's a start.
Appreciate it.
I think because that is a platitude. Everyone already thinks that. But if you stay there you gloss over which innocent people are being killed, where are they being killed, why are they being killed, what led to this situation of their being killed. It's a lot like All Lives Matter. Yea of course they do, but all that does is shut down conversation and analysis.
but Ive mixed feelings on this so don't read me too adversarially. Just my thoughts.
Yeah it does sound very platitude-ish and comes close to "Can't we all just get along?" which is a gross and useless platitude.
Pro-Palestinian protesters have every right to be upset. Pro-Israeli and Pro-Jewish protesters also have every right to be upset. I'd just rather that those 2 groups of protesters direct their anger together instead of at each other since I'm sure a vast majority of the participants are against killing any innocent people.
Yes I agree completely. Well put.
