1. Sec. of State Jena Griswold sent out the release:

   Denver, Colo – The Colorado Republican Party has appealed the Colorado Supreme Court’s decision in Anderson v. Griswold to the U.S. Supreme Court. With the appeal filed, Donald Trump will be included as a candidate on Colorado’s 2024 Presidential Primary Ballot when certification occurs on January 5, 2024, unless the U.S. Supreme Court declines to take the case or otherwise affirms the Colorado Supreme Court ruling.

   Well, we'll always have that he was declared to be part of the insurrection.

My prediction is that SCOTUS will take the case and vacate the COSCT's decision on the grounds that review of the issue under Article 3 of the Fourteenth Amendment is a nonjusticiable political question.  I don't agree with that possible result, as I think the issue is justiciable, with or without Congressional action under its 14th Amendment power, but it's what I think the Court will conclude.  I guess we'll see. I still hold out hope for a major cardiovascular event for the orange cretin, preferably in an embarassing setting.
