Another domino falls
Sydney Powell cops a plea (reduced to just misdemeanors) and agrees to testify against her co-conspirators. I presume that is an attempt to hang on to her law license.
I think I might need to call my congress person today. It seems the idea of "just grant McHenry temporary powers. We'll figure this Speaker stuff out later" is gaining traction.
This is a bad idea. I feel like this will lead to us just having a "temporary" Speaker forever.
Congress is supposed to be a collaborative institution. Fucking collaborate.
Even a temporary speaker requires majority votes…
