The appointment of a special counsel has convinced me that I will not be voting for Hunter Biden next year if he is the Democratic nominee.
Maybe elevating the Trump-appointed US Attorney to Special Counsel will dampen the GOP rhetoric about Hunter, if only slightly.

Here is an idea. We pay the Supremes $500K/yr.
Upon retirement from the court (and not age based), we pay them a pension of $10M/yr.
We can pro rate the pension to be maximum after 10 years.
