Where does Disney World Colorado get built? I vote anywhere except Aurora.
I've been suggesting that dead-ish patch between Colorado Springs and Pueblo along I-25 but set it far enough to the east to reduce (a little at least) the traffic impact. Build a large piece of highway that would go straight from Colorado Springs airport (COS) to the park area. That would also keep some of the traffic off of 25, but it still would have to be expanded to more lanes.
I'm not terribly familiar with COS, but it would probably need to expand some also to handle the traffic.
The whole thing would be a boom to industries that thrive when infrastructure is being built.
It’s very hot and dry in that area. There isn’t any oil underground, and the wealth is in solar and wind potential. A giant amusement park could be a model for conserving water and power. An eco-Disney.
You’re correct that the buildng phase could be a boon to Pueblo’s steel industry.
Maybe also a kick-starter to help get Front Range Rail moving. It's a fairly long drive from Denver or a lot of its suburbs to south of C-Springs.
Nowhere. https://wapo.st/3CabJok
Nowhere works for me. Disney is a scourge; the mouse is evil. (Maybe not as evil as DeSantis, but still . . .) The last thing Coloradans need is another mega-corporation business interest running our mouseketeer kiddies legislature.
Also go Nuggets!
Oh yeah, this thread was supposed to be about the Nuggies! For 3 quarters it didn't even look like a fair match-up, and I'd get disappointed if the Heat got within like 16. Looking forward to game 2 and what adjustments both teams make.
Very impressed with the way the Nuggets moved the ball around. Even Spoelstra commented on how well they do that. Dominant showing right out of the gates for the Nuggets!
