  1. The Boebert/Frisch race is featured in the New Republic's article The Democrats Lost the House by Just 6,675 Votes. What Went Wrong?

The author opines what went wrong was

     * “So many people bought into the myth that the first election under a Democratic president would be a disaster that it was hard to raise money,” said Colorado-based Democratic consultant Jennie Peek-Dunstone. “Adam’s biggest Achilles’ heel was that nobody thought that the race was winnable.”

     * "It is agonizing to imagine what Frisch could have done with a fraction of the money wasted on the unwinnable Greene race in Georgia. A few more Frisch positive ads—reminding voters on the Western Slope that they had an alternative to someone whose politics are deranged—would have saved the nation (and, yes, the House Democrats) from having to endure four days of Boebert’s self-indulgent antics during the speaker fight."

Any other explanations about "what went wrong" in the closest race in the country?

    1. Yes, two words. Pueblo County. With an 11K advantage in D vs R registration, Frisch only won the county by about 4K. It coulda woulda shoulda been very possible to pick up the entire 550-ish vote margin right there.

Rough numbers – 37K registered Dems in Pueblo County, 26K registered Rs, about 44K unaffiliated, per Sec of State. I am not blind to the fact that UAs have overtaken either D or R registration (or both) in many places in Colorado.

But my lord y'all. What did Boebert do for Pueblo County in general, for Latino/Latinas, or for the 3rd District that might've kept this county's race as close as it was?
