Poll: Who Will Win Colorado's U.S. Senate Race? (9/21)

Michael Bennet, Joe O’Dea.

Getting back to our general election series of totally unscientific for-discussion-purposes-only reader polls–which you can take as gospel if you want, though that didn’t work out well for Ron Hanks–is the question waiting for Colorado voters at the top of the ballots next month: who will win the U.S. Senate general election race pitting incumbent Democratic Sen. Michael Bennet against upstart Republican businessman Joe O’Dea? We’ve heard what Mitch McConnell wants and Five Thirty-Eight thinks, now let’s get a temperature check from our readers.

*Remember, as always with our totally non-scientific polls, we want to know what you legitimately THINK will happen — not what you hope will happen or which candidate you support personally. If you had to bet the deed to your house that your prediction would be correct, how would you vote?

Who will win Colorado's U.S. Senate race in 2022?

    1. We learned to ignore "media hyping" when the Denver Post told us in 2014 that Cory Gardner would have no impact on reproductive choice.

  1. Never vote for a republican…the Colorado republican cult is an enemy of democracy…they are willing to break the laws to assume positions of power…unless we start speaking out now, and unless we start protecting our vote counting process from republicans who are trying to overthrow our elected officials, we will not see 2024 as a democratic republic…republicans suck, they are criminals, and they will not stop until they are made to stop…

  2. IMHO, I suspect that O'Dea may actually be pro-choice.

But the point is completely irrelevant because the first thing Senator O'Dea would need to do, if elected, is to vote on the Republicans' organizing resolution which would make Mitch McConnell majority leader and Lady G Graham chair of the judiciary committee.

    1. On the polling aggregating sites, the Bennet/O'Dea contest

      * Real Clear Politics has three polls, with Bennet up 5, 11, and 10.  They DO NOT include the Tarrance Group poll released without details that claimed Bennet & O'Dea were in a statistical tie.

      * FiveThirtyEight.com  has five polls, with Bennet up 8, 6, 1, 11, and 10.  They DO include the Tarrance Group poll and its "statistical tie," but it continues to ONLY link to the Washington Examiner article, not any sort of memo from the polling organization or the sponsor.

I'd love to see an explanation from any of the 16 who think O'Dea will win.
