  1. Because Doug has done so, so much for us, I’d like to do something in return for him and have a little fun in the process. I’d like to play a game where we take two regular words that describe Doug–say “Integrity” and “Courage,” and from those two words create a new word that applies only to Doug. For example, “Integrage,” for the above.

Here are some more to help you get started:

-Brilliant (goes without saying) + Conservative (a very principled one at that) = Brill-ative

-Masterful (at politics) + Combative (when necessary) = Master-bative

-Religious (of course) + Optimistic (about our future) = Rel-ic

Have some fun with it and go Doug!

      1. tarded = RETARDED.  That’s what this baloney is.  Remember, when you’ve been ‘TARDED” once, and your “TARDED” again, then your “RETARDED.”

Besure you count the number of times you’ve been “TARDED.”  Likewise, when you’ve been “TIRED” once, and your “TIRED” again, your “RETIRED.”

That’s what Jay Fawcett was with the military, and what his short-lived political career will be after November 7, 2006. “RETIRED.”

Much like Bill Story in 1986, so too will Fawcett be in 2006.  Nuff Said, need I say more.  After November 7, 2006 the Repubs will  be closing the door on this fiasco.

    1. is my favorite…but what about
“anti-abortion” (of course) and “Christ” (because in a line-up i doubt you could tell the difference…)
      anti-christ

great game LHGQ, im glad youre back.

  2. Denver definitely has to get the Dem Convention now that the Rs have picked Minneapolis.  Clinton has already stressed she doesn’t want her coronation in New York.

    1. It will be easier for Denver now.  The Hyatt Convention Center Hotel will be a union hotel.  A majority of employees have asked for representation and a collective bargaining agreement from HERE/Unite, the Hotel and Restaurant workers union.

      1. Might I add, I enjoy your posts, and thank you for positively contributing to the important debates of the day. (Sorry that sounds stiff….I’m tired)

My personal experience with Mr. Kunz has been quite interesting. Let’s just say I won’t vote for him.

  3. So it looks like all of that pre-mortem Beauprez glee by the left was a little (okay, a lot) premature.  In a new Zogby poll released about an hour ago, Ritter leads Beauprez 45.5% to 42.8% with a 4% margin of error.  In other words, this thing is 50-50.

Maybe it was the ad.  Maybe it is Colorado getting to know good Colorado values.  Either way, things are looking much better for the Beauprez camp.

    1. Like doing nothing while geting paid? For rubber stamping the failed Bush policies? For running up historical national debt? For flip flopping on protecting CO jobs?

I believe FFF stands for something. Certainly not for good old fashioned common sense. Get outa here.

    2. And if you dont mind could you find a link that includes the methodology including the demogrpahics and questions asked. When every other recent poll has BR leading by at least 15% points, I refuse to believe that out of the blue there is one that has them together.

    3. True: Ritter leads Beauprez 45.5% to 42.8% with a 4% margin of error.

False: In other words, this thing is 50-50.

That isn’t how the margin of error works. And even if you don’t understand how it works after reading the below link (or if you don’t read it) by using your logic the same poll could mean Ritter is at 49.5% and Beauprez at 38.8%. Also, I’ve heard Survey USA is coming out with a poll in the next day or so, let’s see what it has to say.

      1.   At least, it might with regard to Both Ways.  Perhaps he should stay in D.C. til Halloween, and then return to Colorado to dress up as the scare crow pointing in different directions.
Wasn’t the original plan:  when BWB returned to D.C., he was going to turn the campaign over to the Lt. Gov. candidate.  We haven’t heard much from “Beastiality Rant” since BWB introduced her to the voters.
What gives?  Are they doing a “Dan Quayle” on her; keeping her out of sight until she’s ready (if ever) for prime time?
