    1. Not a biblical scholar, but I did some looking, and it appears to say just that.

But the reason I posted this morning is is to float the notion that the Mar-a-lago revelations show a wide-ranging treason on the part of one Fat Donnie from Queens.

To whom did he give ( or sell ) our national secrets? What twisted delusions motivate the Great Orange Betrayer?

I want to be a lobbyist for his hanging.

He is a traitor, no less than Benedict Arnold. Upon conviction, he should be publicly executed.

      Period.

      1. Isn’t the way back time machine fun?

        Trump raises death penalty

Repeatedly calling Edward Snowden a “traitor,” Donald Trump alluded to the death penalty on Monday while discussing the NSA leaker.

“I think Snowden is a terrible threat, I think he’s a terrible traitor and you know what we used to do in the good old days when we were a strong country, you know what we used to do to traitors right?” Trump said on “Fox & Friends.”

      2. Duke, there is a theory going around that the top-secret info at Mar-a-Lardo regarding a certain country’s nuclear capabilities have to do with Israel, since IIRC they maintain a policy of “nuclear opacity” i.e. not revealing publicly what their nuclear capabilities are.

What murderous Middle Eastern, pro Trump, golf tour-sponsoring kingdom would really like to have that info, and what would be the price tag? Hmmm.

Just a theory, but it does make some sense.

  1. China life expectancy surpasses the US

The United States will soon drop out of the Top 50 nations in terms of life expectancy. Every country above us has a public option for health insurance of a publicly funded healthcare system. Not some. Not most. Every single one.

But, we can't have universal health care. That would be unfair to rich people.

  2. I’ll be calling in tonight to ask Lauren Boobert/Q-bert why she voted against the veterans PACT ACT/bill since she will sharing all her ” legislative achievements”. Hearing aids set to screech reduction. frown

  4. WTF Dr Crudité?

Dr. Oz said the uninsured “don’t have the right to health,” but should be given “a way of crawling back out of the abyss” with “15-minute physicals” provided by the government “in a festival like setting.”

As Kos said "Republicans are weird."

    1. Give "15-minute physicals to the uninsured".  Is that so they can be diagnosed with a disease they can't treat because they have no insurance.  Basically, you give them the physicals so they can learn what they are about to die from.

      Sweet.

  5. Great News from Michigan:

Headline: "Abortion drives Michigan governor's race as women turn against GOP"

It's THE issue in Michigan now, per The Detroit News poll out today. "34% said abortion and women's rights — the most popular answer — ranking above inflation & the cost of living (26%), education (10%) & the economy & jobs (8%)." Whitmer up by 13 pts.

      1. McConnell and McCarthy’s sphincters are probably tight enough at this point you couldn’t pull a straight pin out of their ass with my John Deere tractor. Dark Brandon warned them: you’re about to witness the power of women.

  6. The Parable of American Nationalist Christian Jesus

Give a man a fish, and he'll eat for a day. Teach a man to fish, but don't do it for free. Charge him way more than he can possibly pay, so that he goes into debt for the rest of his life. Then call him lazy for fishing every day and remaining poor.

    1. Your cite reminded me of a twisted twist on that one.

Teach a man to build a fire, you keep a man warm for a night.

Set a man on fire and you keep him warm for the rest of his life.

      Sorry…😏

  7. Absolutely officially idle Mesa County Clerk and Recorder Tina Peters [Peters’ bond bars from her from having any contact with her office] continued her legal touring this week.

    • Tuesday "A district court judge has thrown out Tina Peters’ attempt to sue every other county clerk and recorder in the state, citing the fact that Peters did not take necessary action to stop the recount before the results were certified."
    • Tuesday Tina Peters' attorney "Harvey Steinberg, petitioned the courts to allow him to depose Barrett and Mesa County District Attorney Dan Rubinstein, something 5th Judicial District Chief Judge Paul Dunkelman granted."
    • Wednesday "pleaded not guilty to charges related to a security breach of her office's election equipment."
    • Wednesday "The [Colorado Supreme Court] ordered [Steinberg] to show cause why Barrett should be deposed, and file a response by Oct. 5 explaining it, giving Barrett 21 days after that to reply."

Trials now on the Mesa County docket:

    Dec 19, Tina Peters v. Thomas Peters civil trial;

    Jan. 26-27 Misdemeanor trial

March 6-14 Felony trial (Jury selection on March 3)
