the Corporate Server (www.thecoloradoobserver.com) has an ‘article’ regarding a new ‘study’ that ‘shows’ that one particular environmental group is somehow depressing wages around Colorado and the West.
This dubious piece of opinion, funded by the Koch brothers Americans for Misery and their CO sycophant, the appropriately named Mr. Crank, is not posted anywhere. There is no way to understand which counties were compared to each other.
The Koch corporate-funded waterboys claim that they had to find two totally obscure Utah college teachers to complete their study because the terrible Green machine made it impossible to find a reputable Colorado researcher.
If one bothers to look at the ‘researchers’ however it is easy enough to reach a different conclusion. One of the lead ‘researchers’ is connected to the Independence Institute, and both are regular ‘go to’ guys for right-wing astroturf TeaParty and Sagebrush rebel groups when they wish to cook up a ‘study’ reaching their bought-for conclusions.
The sad thing is that this report will get some traction, from reporters that probably are too lazy to actually look into the particulars of the study–I am watching for the Gary Harmon story to hit soon.
