I've never tweeted, either. However, Twitter is an essential tool for journalists in keeping up with events. I follow several twitter users on the Ukrainian conflict, and that is the only way to follow things. You do have to curate to who is knowledgable and who is smoking crack. Having responses to your BS is helpful.
I initially thought about Twitter like Maureen Dowd: "I would rather be tied up to stakes in the Kalahari Desert, have honey poured over me and red ants eat out my eyes than open a Twitter account."
But after a while, I found it almost essential if you want to follow fast-moving events, or find out what's trending early in the game. A lot of it is shallow, surface-level, even dumb, but done right you can find important stuff and dig deeper if need be. I will be bummed, though not terminally, if Elon screws it up.

The New York Court of Appeals has 7 Democrats on it, yet it issued a 4 to 3 decision. I wonder if the DeSantis-appointed Florida Supreme Court will do the same thing as New York court did? I tend to doubt it.
