For those of you who celebrate, and Happy Holidays for everyone.
Instead of an aria, something a little different.
Then you’ll love this.
Because there isn’t a whole lot from this CD, my favorite Christmas CD, on YouTube. The CD is now out of print, but Amazon will burn you a new one on demand.
This year I found a second cut from the CD on YouTube.
Merry Christmas, everyone.
Latin percussionist and songwriter Ralph McDonald.
Rather than repeat all his songwriting and recording credits, I’ll just refer to his obituary in the New York Times.
Here’s one of the tunes he wrote with songwriting partners William Salter and William Eaton. McDonald plays percussion in this recording.
Here’s another McDonald co-composition.
And although he didn’t write it, this tune wouldn’t be quite the same without McDonald playing percussion in the background.
RIP, Ralph McDonald.
Thank you, Tom Lehrer.
(Trying to get in the mood. It’s tough this year)
(still trying)
My employee and I watched A Charlie Brown Christmas the other day here at work on my DVD player. He may be 17 but he was grinning ear to ear.
Of course, he might have been smiling because he was being paid to eat sugar cookies and watch cartoons with me…
Annual tradition.
…and to reveal what a videogame slut I am…
