low-informationstupid friend…..There’s scientific evidence for the benefits of letting children play in and eat dirt. That’s assuming said dirt isn’t contaminated with lead, heavy metals, sick animal poop, etc. so that leaves out Globeville, Swansea, Commerce City, and most of the new Congressional District 8.
I played in lots of dirt growing up, and composting and gardening is now my grown-up excuse for it.
My own kids were constantly playing in the mud and dirt. My granddaughter seems to enjoy the occasional mouthful, though we’re careful about the source

But zero evidence that playing in the dirt can give any protection from SARS-CoV-2. There is something to be said about building the immune response to environmental antigens (immunotherapies for seasonal allergies employ this approach), but the vaccines are the "silver bullets" here. That means vaccinating the world. The virus doesn't care about manmade borders.
