  1. Good morning, all.

I am sad to say we are under a new Troll Alert. Our most recent "Troll with a hundred names" has his panties in a wad because he can't understand why no one likes him.

Please do your best to refrain from feeding our newest sniveler. This one is particularly smelly.

    1. Colorado Pols, please ban Duke for at least a couple of days. This is unacceptable targeted harassment poisoning the well before anyone arrives.

      Duke Cox is a bully.

  2. RIP Max Cleland, wounded Vietnam vet, Silver Star recipient, VA Director, Georgia Secretary of State, U.S. Senator, target of one of the wormiest smear campaigns in American political history, Secretary of the American Battle Monuments Commission, and all around good dude.

    1. Max Cleland lost both legs and an arm in Vietnam.  Then he lost an election to a draft dodger, Saxby Chambliss, who questioned his patriotism.

      Rest in glory, Max.

      Burn in Hell, Chambliss.

      1. Voyageur, you are deplorable and laugh at people when you think they're in mourning.

        Fuck off you geriatric homophobe.

Mods, please ban Voyageur for his sexual bigotry, lying, harassment, and troll campaign against me.

  3. Today the Wall Street Journal reports that the Department of Labor said the mean tweet index, which measures what consumers pay for goods and services increased at the fastest annual pace since 1990. Inflation also topped 5% for the fifth straight month.

At this rate the unemployed may have to go back to work.

Thanks goodness that President Brandon is keeping his pledge not to raise taxes on those of us making less than $400,000 annually. And as Duke says, inflation is not a tax.

Soon President Brandon will identify President Jimmy Carter as one of the Nobel Prize economist who support Build Back Broke.

    1. I don't remember saying that, PP….but it isn't. The rising prices aren't being paid as taxes. It is goods and services, from which price increases the wealthy benefit most.

      1. You are correct. I apologize. A tax is payment that you no choice in paying. Inflation on the other hand, you only pay if you want to live. And we know that the wealthy are the only ones who want to live.

            1. The other QE: Quantitative Easing.

(and completely agree with you on the Queen!)

I thought Pfuit ought to have to work for his (increasingly expensive) free lunch today since he got away with characterizing our supply chain issues as simply “lazy union workers”.

              1. Sorry Rice, I am the PoleCats favorite troll, we are all friends. We can be friends because nothing on this forum is serious, because there are no serious people. It’s just a collection of avatars with goofy names and alter ego’s saying things they would never say to you in public of face to face.

In fact V gave me the same treatment when I came on board. You might be a little too sensitive to play in this sand lot, but it is your choice. Just keep in mind that it doesn’t matter what people think of you or say to you when those saying it are not real.

                Good luck.

                1. Just so you know, Pear, Gudolph is lying again.   He claimed his mother died of alcohol poisoning.   Obviously, he was lying but a lie like that reveals a lot.   I didn’t mock it, however, noting only that such a family history “explains a lot.  And not in a good way.”

Couple his bizarre lie with his claim that he doesn’t drink alcohol — a common reaction among children of alcoholism — and it seems likely he did indeed have at least one alcoholic parent.

Which does explain a lot.  And not in a good way.

        1. Hey Pear:

Any comparison that also meshes in

          • the ~25% increase in SNAP benefits for the eligible,
          • shift from unemployment payments to employment compensation for a sizeable proportion of the 5.5 million additional jobs, or
          • increasing average wages and salaries?

We won’t even go into how to calculate the impact of the stock market going up.  S&P went from 3798 on Jan 19 close to 4646 close today.

    2. The “mean tweet index”?
That reached its peak under the Former Guy, crashed when he was banned from Twitter, but is climbing again with Lala Bobo’s inane contributions.

    3. One major control is under the Federal Reserve.  Their story, as of November 3:

In a statement released on Nov. 3, the Fed highlighted: "The Committee seeks to achieve maximum employment and inflation at the rate of 2 percent over the longer run. With inflation having run persistently below this longer-run goal, the Committee will aim to achieve inflation moderately above 2 percent for some time so that inflation averages 2 percent over time and longer‑term inflation expectations remain well anchored at 2 percent."

      CNET's opinion:

While you're seeing the cost of day-to-day living go up, it's likely just the normal and expected response to the stalled-out pandemic economy. There's been no consensus among experts that inflation will become a sustained cycle. It's just on their radar, particularly as Capital Hill is weighing some ginormous economic stimulus packages and the economy is making a comeback.

    4. Yo, Puerile Parsimonious Persimmon — what are you morons, like, 12 years old? You do realize you’re embarrassing yourselves terribly among the non-cultist majority, do you not?

      1. The Brandon thing seems almost inexplicable until you realize that these are the same clowns who turned an old incontinent morbidly obese Adderall junkie serial rapist into an object of worship.

        1. …and they’ve graduated to four syllables for their latest battle cry: Lock Her Up! to Let’s Go, Brandon!

I feel like I’m engaging with a gaggle of morans suffering from arrested development.

          1. Funny, sad kind of funny that is, that these slogans have to be reduced to such a basic form any moron can recite them.

            Stop the steal !

            Build that wall !

            Lock her up !

            Lets go Brandon !

            Fire Fauci !

            Send her back !

            Take the Capitol !

Idiotic mob mentality. So, so tired of these children living in fantasy world.

              1. Yes. If " Pay your fair share " doesn't stir up a bunch of hippies to go storm the Capitol and beat police officers, then nothing will ! Almost tantamount to hate speech.

              2. I think it’s more like “Mexico is going to pay for the wall” and “China will pay the tariffs”  (after he threw a couple of trillion at the billionaires)

            1. Wanna learn something about the MAGA mindset? Buy a ticket to a WWE professional wrestling match…a big one.

Then get yourself a beer and some popcorn, sit back, and listen to the crowd.

              You will be enlightened.

              1. You have gone too far Duke. How dare you impune the WWE. What ya  gonna do when Hulkamania comes for you. RIP Chyna, ninth wonder of the world.

No doubt about it the WWE has the best annual report of any exchange traded stock.

                1. Hey, Hey.  I grew up watching Gorgeous George.   He could lick six hulks with one dainty hand tied behind his back.

But I once saw him cower in fear of  Jack Dempsey, who was refereeing a match.  The champ call him for a foul and Gorgeous George shoved him.  Jack made a fist and advanced on him while the announcer noted he still had dynamite in his fist.

                  Now THAT was showmanship!

                  The crowd cheered itself hoarse.

    5. Well, the last President raised my taxes.  I also bought a home for the first time during his Sad!-ministration.  I didn't get that first-time homebuyer's credit thanks to his tax scam.  So talk about "President Brandon" raising my taxes ain't gonna faze me.

Also, say what you will about President Brandon.  But he told The Former Guy to shut up.  Then took his job.  In the parlance of your friends, Brandon made Former Guy look like a "cuck".

  4. I know a lot of family and friends in southern Wisconsin, across the political spectrum. In that group, the take away from the Rittenhouse trial is that it is legal for white Americans to grab their guns, get in their car (truck) and drive to a protest anywhere and shoot to kill as they see fit.

Some think that is great, as it should be.
    Others the opposite.

    1. Since you didn't ask, I am in that latter camp.

Rittenhouse needs a few years "hangin' wit Bubba" to think about what happens when you take a gun to a fight.

      1. There is some question about the constitutionality of life without parole for teenage killers. I'd settle for 40 years in this case.  If re-elected, Trump will try to pardon him. But since it is a state crime, he won't be able to.

    2. Now  Matt, don't say mean things about right-wing murderers.  The right-wing judge trying him, who insists the men he killed weren't victims, will sic the Proud Boyz on you.

            1. Duke "Dookie" Cox is an unapologetic and hateful troll.  Do not participate in this forum if you are new, or he will encourage and enjoin the forum to attack you.

            1. Duke "Dookie" Cox is an unapologetic and hateful troll.  Do not participate in this forum if you are new, or he will encourage and enjoin the forum to attack you. Case in point ^^

Users here are simpletons just as gullible as Boebert's fanbase and are not interested in outside perspective.

            1. Nah, it was a minor fire that Voyageur set and which no one has the gumption to ask him to take five seconds and pick up the fire extinguisher in front of him to put it out.

Standing around and tossing garbage on his trolling sure isn't putting out the flames. Weird.

          1. Ahh, don’t be so modest, Roger . . .

. . . you’re plenty racist enough to join anything this side of a cross burning.

(. . . I mean, so long as it’s not anything you have to be elected to join.)

      1. That was pretty much expected . . . .

. . . Hell, Sen. Rafael couldn't even win a battle of wits against Ttump!???

(Better just stay hangin' with the Boebets, Teddy Warbucks . . .)
