    I thought Newsom's quote about the election truthers was perfect.

    “This election fraud stuff is a crock. It’s shameful,”Newsom said. “As an American, I’m ashamed, I’m disgusted by it. Stop it. Grow up. These people are literally vandalizing our democracy and trust in our institutions.”

    Stop it.  Grow up. We need to stop engaging with this insane tantrum with facts, and simply tell them to go pound salt.  That's really the only answer to all this.

    CA Secretary of State's website says (18,185 of 18,185) precincts partially reporting as of September 15, 2021, 2:55 a.m. :

    Shall Gavin Newsom Be Recalled (Removed) From the Office of Governor?

    Yes:  3,297,145……36.1%

    No:  5,840,283…….63.9%

    And yet SOMEHOW,

    Elder told a cheering crowd Tuesday that "we may have lost the battle, but we are going to win the war."

    In other political comedy, Elder also said “I’m a uniter… We are going to bring this country together.”

    I’m the world’s fifth largest economy, the once-grand GOP is proving to be a clown car filled with hapless anarchists, devoid of vision or meaningful leadership. 

    Last night probably cemented Elder as the de facto head of the CA Republican Party. Good news for Elder and his grift machine – and great news for CA Democrats.

    I feel like the last couple of days and weeks that anti-Trump sentiment has began to snowball.  From the rally that expected 10k plus and got about 300, from the California recall, from the G.W. Bush 911 speech, to the book revelations that Gen. Milley actually had to call his Chinese counterpart and the ridiculous treatment of Mike Pence. It is not going well for Trump, and may it please continue.

    Pope Francis says vaccine deniers are creating division within the College of Cardinals and that one of them has been hospitalized with COVID. "The ironies of life," he says.

    Pope Francis has repeatedly spoken out in favor of COVID-19 vaccines, saying in a public service adreleased last month that getting vaccinated is "an act of love."
