“We don’t want to dumb anybody down. We don’t seek power over people. It’s the exact opposite, and yet the media, because they are Democrats themselves, liberals themselves, have succeeded in convincing all these groups that it is conservatives and Republicans who intend all this ill will and evil for them when in fact the people who have brought that on and made that part of these people’s lives is the Democrat Party. No question about it.”

Why Apple employees avoid getting in the elevator with Steve Jobs
I TRY to be in the elevator with him. I like that. Nothing grinds my gears at work more than some airheaded exec who doesn’t have an opinion on anything.

I think Mr. Limbaugh should explain the rush for Congress to insert itself into this case before I can consider his statement.
The plain fact is that this case has been dropped by the national media. Every time a pol from the Republican Party claims no interest in controlling others this case should be brought up. But it hasn’t been.
75? Besides that, a method of measuring audience share not based on self reporting finds weakening throughout the rightie radio star universe:

explains why he always seems to be shouting
But, I rarely encounter ANY talk radio. I did hear Glenn Beck once and Hannity a couple of times while in the midwest a year ago. And on last election night, while returning from festivities in Denver I heard Caldera until the mountains obliterated the signal. Of those I heard I have to say Caldera seemed the most rational. But, he had a couple of victories to celebrate though he was astounded that Buck had lost.
One.

Onerous abortion restrictions effect multitudes.
Republicans don’t seek power over people? Small government my ass! Small enough to fit in a woman’s vagina.
making me really uncomfortable!
That’s my freakin politics:-)
Kudos to District Attorney Bob Watson for his decision to try the 13 year old as a juvenile.
As terrible as the boy’s alleged crimes are, he was 12 when he allegedly committed them. And I find it incredible to consider the possibility that a 13 year old could be locked up “all day and all night” for something done before he could truly comprehend what he did.
I always think of Cody Posey — killed his father and stepmother at age 14 — The prosecutor in the case stood there literally trying to diagnose this child with Antisocial Personality Disorder, something you CANNOT diagnose in a child, in her closing arguments. It sickened me. Fortunately he ended up being sentenced as a juvenile and was sent to a treatment facility equipped to rehabilitate him and already familiar with him.
I can understand why people want a more serious option for heinous crimes but 12 is 12. Children should never be tried as adults because they aren’t. The alternatives posed, such as being able to keep him in custody if, by the time he finishes the maximum juvenile sentence he is deemed to still be a danger to the community, is a reasonable solution.
