      1. No one is perfect.  But when you continually elected scandal driven corrupted politicians, they are either 1) completely lying to the voters 2) completely ignorant of what it means to be a “representative of the people”

2. Looks like Marilyn’s challenger thinks the job is so appealing that she wants to take it away from the incumbent.

   1. Im not sure if that’s the right message, or even any where close to being Paccione’s standards for serving as an elected official (unlike BobbyBothWays and the Lady in Pink.) 

      Being almost at the top of list for the most corrupted politician in D.C. is nothing for Marilyn to be proud of.

            Oh wait, no one can raise taxes at the capitol due to TABOR!  Wow, somehow republicans tend to have a convenient memory when talking about spending someone else’s money.

               Tax payer bill of rights…………what a joke, the first time it was needed it was thrown out by the sky is falling crowd.

               Another Skeptic is about the last of the bastions of truth left on this liberal site, so of course yall put him in your cross hairs.
               All the rest gave up fighting the “raise taxes” crowd……..

3. Is the Paccione campaign even trying any more?  I have counted 3 attack sites on Angie Paccione and they are all much better than Special Interest Marilyn.  My favorite out of the 3 would be http://www.paccioneonimmigration.com.
   Though bankruptangie.com and liberalextremist.com are ok too.

   1. You mean outlining actual facts instead of inane hit pieces is the claim to fame? I do like those youtubes the extremists are doing, though. That agriculture one was hilarious. Hope those idiots keep it up.

      Besides, Marilyn’s got all kinds of blogs dogging her heels, and that’s gotten what nailed her on the KKK endorsement and what burned her for using Marines as window dressing at the Larimer GOP dinner.

         Just me, I’m sure, but I really like the “extremist” ad where they couldn’t spell. Very impressive. Well done. I wonder if they have bothered to invest in a dictionary yet.

         Now, KKK, that’s easy to spell…wonder if they’ll bother to post that endorsement of their favorite gal.

              Colorado’s fourth congressional district is not the kind of seat Republicans can afford to see seriously in play after Labor Day if they hope to retain control of the House of Representatives in next year’s Congress. The district is reliably Republican: President Bush carried it in 2004 with 58% of the vote. Yet a newly released poll by SurveyUSA for KUSA-TV in Denver gives the incumbent Republican, Marilyn Musgrave, a small four-point lead, 46% to 42%. A Democratic poll done by Strategic Services in June pegged Rep. Musgrave’s lead at a mere point.

              More troubling for Ms. Musgrave is the 8% going to Reform Party candidate Eric Eidsness. Colorado was one of Ross Perot’s best states in his third-party bids for President in the 1990s, and Mr. Eidsness is a legitimate threat to garner 5%, or more, of the vote in November. The SurveyUSA results indicate Mr. Eidsness siphoning 7% of Republican voters versus only 2% from Democrats.

              Most analysts still rate this contest as “Republican favored” but there are early warning signs that Ms. Musgrave may be in a dogfight to hold on to her seat, especially given that her winning percentage of the vote in 2004 declined to 51% from the 55% she captured in 2002.

              While the Reform Party candidate aspect mitigates some of the national implications of this race, it is another piece of evidence suggesting that Democrats are indeed well positioned to potentially pick up the 15 seats they need to capture the House.
