Lauren Boebert Has One Speed: Petulant

  • by: Colorado Pols

Here’s an interesting scene from last night’s address by President Biden to a joint session of Congress:

Perhaps Congressperson Lauren “Q*Bert” Boebert (R-ifle) was so focused on her anti-Biden schtick that she wasn’t even listening to what the President was saying. That’s the best we can do for why you would frown at the idea of LOWERING THE COST OF PRESCRIPTION DRUGS.

      1. Probably not.  But I do think that is her entire plan, and not just in this situation. Play the aggrieved rebel fighting for all of our blessed freedoms the commies in DC are trying to take away, and grift.

  1. I’m gonna’ agree (pregree?) with Gilpin Guy ahead of his post.  There’s absolutely nothing informative here — this diary should come with a warning: “Lazy, gratuitous Boebert slop to follow.”

    1. Quit whining. I live in the 3rd and the piece of trash passing as our congresswoman should be ridiculed early and often. Ignoring her would allow her to continue to peddle her bullshit. It's not as though she'll magically go away if you don't read about her. Her incompetence needs to be top of mind in district voters.

Nobody is making you read it.

  2. Today's LA Times has a good piece on Pueblo (sadly, Moddy wasn't provided an opportunity to share insights from the bowels of CD-3's southern headquarters).

Column: ‘Pleasantly boring,’ or how Joe Biden succeeds by not being Donald Trump

PUEBLO, Colo – Aaron Elkins is a political independent with little use for Democrats or Republicans. He’s never been a fan of Donald Trump and couldn’t bring himself to support Joe Biden. So in November he voted for a third-party candidate he can’t even remember.

But 100 days into Biden’s administration, Elkins is largely pleased with the president’s performance.

It’s not so much what Biden has done: the massive COVID relief bill he pushed through Congress, the stepped-up federal response to the pandemic he’s overseen, or the gargantuan infrastructure bill he’s dangled before lawmakers.

Rather, it’s what the president hasn’t done: rage and howl and push the country to a state of nervous exhaustion.

    1. Silly Sparky- she was making a Faraday cage out of the space blanket to block her cell phone from EMP radiation, because of course They want to wipe her phone. This is a thing among the wackier  folks on the Q continuum. And Boebert had to do it publicly and loudly to perform for the base.

    1. Have I ever told you what a fabulous lady you are, Jeffco Blue?

Well, now I have.  You have tons of that most uncommon of qualities, common sense.
