        I choose to be kind to those who are kind, or at least civil, to me. Ignoring V’s unkind insults, baiting, and ad-hominem attacks in lieu of reasoned arguments is the kindest thing I can do – for other readers of this blog.
        
        In other words, if I were to kindly repay in-kind all that’s hurled at me, by V, it would kind of be the unkindest cut of all – for all kinds of people.

Rolling blackouts from ND to TX have turned into lengthy power outages in freezing conditions. Biden needs to lift his oil & gas ban as we need reliable energy sources. The Green New Deal was just proven unsustainable as renewables are clearly unreliable.

You know how you unfreeze frozen windmills? By sending up a helicopter that shoots out chemicals onto the blades. You need fuel for the helicopter. Keep that in mind when thinking how “green” windmills are.

  The gas lines have also frozen and the reduced supply is directed to heat people's homes first because it is purchased as uninterruptible for those heating while generation is purchased as interruptible because it's waaaay cheaper. The contingency is that the gas plants are pitched as being able to burn fuel oil in such a shut-off situation which often times fails to work because it's such a rarity.
  
  There's about only one generation source that's not really impacted by extreme weather conditions and I don't see the OG boys pushing for nukes all of a sudden.
  
  But why would a politician display such nuance about these situations?
