  1. Seems as though no one is disputing the facts regarding Justice Thomas’ disclosure statements.  I would really appreciate a prosecution going forward.  We just had the activist on oil & gas permits in Utah get convicted yesterday.  Why not Thomas?  What makes him so special?  Of course, impeachment would have to start in the House.  Good luck with that, the country club always defends its members.

    1. Start on the criminal side – it’s a felony.

If you can get to the point where he’s convicted, then you might have a chance in the House, though I’m guessing while it remains in Republican hands it’s not going to happen.

    1. with his wife’s 700K pay check and his blatant dishonesty about it, the pressure to recuse on all sorts of things can be kept up relentlessly and especially as a counter to all and any witch hunts proposed by Issa and friends.

Will not get rid of Thomas (but will aggravate the hell out of him without allowing him to much credibility on the lynching thing)) but can be used to keep lots of negatives in the media rotation permanently and to show R hypocrisy.

Already polls are showing that the public opposes almost everything the Rs claim the public wants.  The trick is to make a dent in the public’s ignorance of that fact.

The Dems need to treat the building of an effective message machine with the urgency of the 60s push to reach the moon and use it to take constant advantage of the Thomas situation and every other opportunity that comes their way and of the new polls.

  2. “Our government teaches the whole people by its example. If the government becomes the lawbreaker, it breeds contempt for law; it invites every man to become a law unto himself; it invites anarchy.”
