    As I said last week, it would not be long before Hickenlooper would reveal his intentions vis a vis who he represents.

    Senator Gardner, our previous Republican senator, in a pure gimme to the Oily Boyz, pushed the move of the BLM headquarters to Grand Junction. Pols provided in depth coverage at the time, highlighting the purely political nature of this logistically ridiculous idea.

    Now our other Republican Senators, Frackenlooper and Thurston, have signed on to this purposeful attack on the primary agency that monitors and regulates oil and gas exploration and drilling.

    Hickenlooper is still the Colorado Petroleum Associations' fairy godmother it appears.

      C'mon, Duke. Hick and Bennet will do plenty to piss you off. Come to think about it, their very existence pisses you off.

      But save your bitching for stuff that counts. This doesn't. Polis even joined in to get the “national headquarters'' moved here. It was all a head fake, as we know. Perhaps 40 jobs moved.

      They'll all give a well-publicized effort to keep it here, and then cry crocodile tears when the new Interior secretary moves it back to D.C.

        John Hickenlooper is one of the phoniest politicians in the country. Bennet and his Banker Bro Benevolent Society have been on my shit list for a very long time.

        Both men have the national Democratic party to thank for their positions. Neither man represents me. I keep waiting for either one to show me something that they are willing to do beyond their devotion to Big Money.

        Sorry, but I simply can't support the "Aristocrat Caucus".

    I'm waiting for some updates by Pols of the legislation in the statehouse.  Time to up your game and report on the good stuff.  Another day of Qbert going cray-cray again is old and tired news at this point.

    Jeffrey, Sabol, Colorado geophysicist, accused of dragging cop down Capitol steps Jan 6. Once charged, Sabol tried to flee to Switzerland, but was apprehended in New York, and then attempted suicide.

    He was a member of Colorado’s 3% militia. Wonder what the odds are that Boebert knows him.

    Best news I saw this morning — Axios reporting former Representative David Jolly is thinking of a run for Governor … and developing a breakaway party.

    Jolly has also been using his influence to attract Republicans who have left the GOP to a new party he’s chairing — the Serve America Movement, or SAM.

    • He calls SAM, born in 2017, a “big tent party” and also hopes to woo defected Democrats and independents.
    • He tells Axios it’s working: “The new party conversation has just increased dramatically since January 6,” Jolly said.

    Any chance there is a similar movement afoot in Colorado, with the Republicans appalled by Trumpism and its local offshoots deciding they cannot redeem the party and so ought to jump to an alternative?

      Well, it turns out that the "Patriots Party" was an extreme left Party back in the 1970s that used the confederate flag and appeals to white identity to show how bad capitalism is… or something like that. That may or may not smudge Trump's idea of creating the Patriots Party.

      I think that the Lincoln project and the establishment Republicans don't have the media, the power or the votes to regain control of the actual Republican Party with all it's branding, voter registrations and loyalty-history. They may have access to Corporate money, but the radical, Q-anon right dominates Fox News not to mention Epoch and Bannon and the rest of the RW all the way to the far border. They can easily self-fund (or self-grift, as the case may be).

      Split the Republicans in half; Guarantee that the Democrats win:

      Since we know that they are facing a long-time in the wilderness, I suggest that all Republican politicians who desire to save the country run write-in or third party in every single election where the Q-anon/Gun-nut has gained the Republican primary.

      When are these asshats going to quit trying to convince us THEY speak for the majority? What policy does the Trumplican© party espouse that is supported by a majority of Americans?

      Everything seditious cretins like Gingrich have done and are doing is an attempt to maintain minority rule. They will never again have a national majority. The legacy of the Orange Destruction is not dissimilar to that of Dr. Frankensteins ' monster. The Republican party is dying at the hands of its' greatest creation.
