I rarely watch MSNBC as I find their talking heads incredibly annoying. Rachael Maddow has the ability to make me dislike ideas I support because she is so focused on getting everyone to catch a case of the vapors over each issue.

CNN is better for breaking news, but you're missing out on Joe Scarborough (former GOP congressman), Nicolle Wallace (former GOP campaign honcho for McCain), and Brian Williams. Their regular guests including Eugene Robinson, David Plouffe, Bob Costa, Claire McCaskill, Jon Mecham, Steve Schmidt, Jonathan Lemiere, etc., etc. are worth every minute of my time.
CNN, on the other hand, wastes my time with GOP representatives like Rick Santorum, the smarmy guy from Louisville, KY, Mary Stewart(?) and others who spin so shamelessly that it's embarrassing.

That's correct about the market finally acknowledging a Dem victory. What they are forgetting about this time is the unmitigated s*show that Trump may inflict in the next three months until 1/20/21.
I sold all my retirement stock investments, one-half on 1/2/20 after we were ten minutes from war with Iran and, the other half in February, 2020 when I learned of the expectation of worldwide shutdowns due to Covid. I haven't regretted whatever stock market gains, if any, that I might have missed. I won't get back into the market until after 1/20/21 assuming a Biden victory, and when an effective vaccine is found.
I've been cautiously buying on dips for the last few months, but will get back to regular dollar cost average investing next year as well.

Four years ago my wife and I attended a Dems Abroad party at a bar in Auckland, New Zealand. A college student thought that Trump would win and I bet her 5 NZ dollars and told her I felt guilty about taking her money. Next, I became the American man on the street for a Radio NZ reporter who began a series of interviews with me.
Interview #1: Hillary will win, it's just a matter of how much. Interview #2: We didn't need FL and weren't expecting it anyway. Interview #3: We didn't need OH and weren't expecting it anyway. But, we did need to win PA, WI and MI. And, that's okay because Democrats had never lost those before.
Interview #4: As PA is starting to fall, the reporter says I'm not as optimistic as before. I said, "You're about to see a grown man cry."
I paid off my bet to the student and walked out of the bar.

My conservative and hopeful guess is 321 Biden.
That leaves IA, TX, OH, and FL on the table.
I am insanely, crack-headedly pessimistic, and even my bleakest assessment has Biden winning 277-261.
My 538 map shows Biden 324, Trump 208. You have to include those split districts in NE and ME.
Is it too over the top to ignore Godwin's Law and begin to compare Trump and the GOP to Nazis?
Beyond all of the authoritarian actions and rhetoric, I'm thinking about the Covid deaths that will be caused if Trump is re-elected. He will "Fire Fauci" and replace him with "Dr." Atlas who is promoting herd immunity. Herd immunity could easily result in two million or more US deaths. Deaths that could have easily been avoided by just wearing masks. Add that to Trump's belief in a Unitary Executive (endorsed by William Barr) that states Article 2 gives the president unlimited power (checks and balances be damned), and we are well on our way to a fascist regime.
I am only one generation removed from Nazi Germany. I've always been mystified by how that happened. I believe that German citizens' lack of vocal opposition, willful ignorance, and just plain racism allowed it to happen. Just sayin' when I am told to embrace current Trump supporters even after a Biden victory.
Short answer: no. No, it isn't.
Good news is that all of my California extended family who denied and buried the existence of our Austrian Jewish kin, who completely disconnected from that entire cultural heritage, are now never-Trumpers. So maybe they did learn something.
Short answer: yes, it is over the top. And any comparison of Trump & his enablers to nazis demeans the memory of the millions who died at Hitler's desire and takes away the shock value of the Holocaust.
If you need to compare, try historic fascists like Mussolini, Franco, Stroessner; and modern day fascists like Putin, Erdogan, Duterte, and Maduro.
Think of Huey Long without the brains or the humor.
One thing that makes me very optimistic – Trump's support is 38% – 42% and the vast majority of them will drive through a small nuclear war to vote for him.
Everyone else spans the gamut from conservative but done with Trump to very very liberal. And they're all voting Democratic.
And so, the larger the turnout, the more Democratic it is.
