…I for one, am glad I don’t have to see that shrieking harpy Coultier anymore.
And considering how much we spend talking about music, this just might be a very well-targeted ad.
Save up to 90% on local eats?
Why don’t I get the music ad? {{POUTS}}
..it was for an app that I’ll describe as “iTunes Helper.”
However, the shrieking harpy has yet to return…
Feels like Google is judging me. Google, stop calling me fat and puppy obsessed. Only half of that is true. 🙁
Oh, wait. I am fat and puppy-obsessed.
puppy obsessions. Do yours have friends? Mine would love a couple of youngins to chase around. If they’re old enough for a play date we should totally set one up. Since my understanding is that we live very close to each other.
$11,300 fine levied against Bruce and his group for violating campaign finance laws. Believed to be the largest fine handed out to an “issues committee.”
If it is, it shouldn’t be a problem.
Bruce believes in free market and jobs though, so I’m sure when the collection agency goes after him it will only be him stimulating the economy. People gotta work.
Once again, Bruce pulls a dodge and weave:
I do adore how he tries to distance himself from the organization when he was one of the principal organizers of ACT and listed as their registered agent until 4 months ago.
Violation number one : The ACT is registered as an education organization, not a political issue committee. ACT ran a secret campaign to bring 60, 61 and 101 to a ballot.
Violation number two: never filed a single campaign finance report after raising over $200,000.
of a minimally-connected “volunteer bookkeeper” is the ability to “formally [disolve] . . . the organization”?
Dougy, Dougy, Dougy . . . you so funny.
If you’re looking for deep logic from Bruce, you’ll be waiting a while.
Can a private citizen sue to collect? Or do we have to trust the SOS to chase it?
but if ACT decides not to pay, the debt is turned over to the state’s collection agency, the Department of Personnel and Administration, who has the option to table the fine since it’s pretty rare that they follow through with collecting the fine.
A private party can also sue ACT to collect the fine.
The DPA should not table the fine, but rather pursue ACT’s organizers for blatant disregard for the law.
Since ACT was largely a Douggy Bruce front, and he’s been playing hard-to-get with the law, he needs to be made example of.
Making Doug Bruce the official state douche bag?
…State Quarter for that?
to another year of process servers playing “Where’s Dougo” as he runs and hides while claiming he had no idea they were looking for him.
isn’t that the fitting conservative line?
not from him, but about him —
(I think I love this quote most not for what it says about Doug Bruce, but for what it seems to says about GOP candidates and legislators.)
or iss it more proper to ask “whom”?
so maybe it’s not the best metric.
Oh who am I kidding. Oy gevalt.
by Ali in a Pols diary.
I may have mis-judged Ali’s judgment…
Then “who” is probably correct.
But if you subscribe the old spinster school of the English language (the one we were all taught), you probably would have written, “to whom was the quote attributed?”
Somewhere, a spinster is spinning in her grave.
🙂

that Reverend Ike said it more succinctly.
“Close your eyes and see green.”
My favorite Reverend Ike quote was, “The best thing you can do for the poor is not be one of them.”
