Morning.
Hey there…
You left off the adjective.."good".
Tough to find "good" nowadays, ain't it?
When I’ve been in Germany and German-speaking parts of Switzerland, most don’t say “Guten Morgen.” It’s generally just “Morgen.”
Well, that 'splains it! Some of my ancestors ARE German Swiss.
Good morning America, how are you?
Don't you know us, we're your daughter and your son?
We're the train they call the Biden/Harris special.
And in 74 more days that Fascist is undone!

— Hat tip to Duke for suggesting the song for today's countdown.
Bravo, V!
Yeah, but what will Trump do in the following 78 days leading up to the swearing in of Biden?
We've arranged for a horde of whores to keep him occupied!
Many, many, many pardons.
As much damage as possible.
October is going to be ugly. If Walmart is seeing a slowdown, smaller businesses absolutely are or are about to, and they can’t weather this storm as a large corporation can.
Walmart Sounds a Warning on the Economy
Interesting article – Wally is indeed a bellwether of US economic health. The period of time, if there is one, between when the stimulus funds dry up and millions of unemployed folks go back to work is going to be the most painful, and we already know there are probably millions that have no work to go back to anyway.
It's an incredibly scary time, meltdown. My pension makes me secure (I'm 75) but the poor bastards trying to raise a family in an economy where a few billionaires boss a horde of serfs are in dire straits.
Marx would be fascinated. Have we ever had a lumpenproletariat where a third of the masses have college degrees?
It's a scary time indeed Voyageur. Start with a 1918 level pandemic, throw in massive racial tensions and violence, unprecedented income inequality, a cratering economy and a few forest fires, one of them the second largest in Colorado history. Then keep the asshole dial on 10 every day of the week at 1600 Penn and you have a rather dangerous cocktail.
If all of this can't wake the lumpenproletariat from their slumber, then I am afraid nothing will !
I'm probably an optimist and think that when the economic bad news starts rolling in faster at the end of September and the market takes another massive swan dive, the GOP and maybe even Trump will start panicking and pass a multi-trillion dollar relief package that the Dems can live with.
Or, if Trump decides that fuck it! If I go down, so will everybody else! Then after exercising the 25th Amendment, President Pence will sign the multi-trillion dollar relief package.
Nope, no Sept-Oct relief package, unless McConnell believes it will save his political ass. And yes, Trump would take everyone with him. And no, the 25th amendment will never be invoked by this disastrous "cabinet." There really is no deus ex machina for this Greek tragedy.
