Dear Liberal Left-Wing Media:

Where the hell are you guys?  What have you been doing since the Reagan administration?!?!  The Right-Wing pundits and the stuffed suits at Fox seem to have no problem spotting you all over the airwaves, but for some reason, I can’t see you no matter how hard I try.  To listen to the talking heads (sorry, David Byrne) tell the story, we are all being slowly brainwashed by your shameless leftist communist spin on the daily goings on of the country, our government, and the world.

You make the citizens of this unassailable paragon of virtue, this greatest nation in the history of Earth, begin to think it may be okay to question just how perfect we are by reporting every whoopsie moment our government experiences.  You make the upstanding, right-thinking patriots cower in shame by attacking mercilessly their chosen representatives, and all their character flaws.

Okay, so, I must get the wrong satellite provider.  I have yet to see any of this.  Could it be because ONE of the satellite providers is owned by the same company that owns Fox?  And so probably never broadcasts any of that seditionist garbage?  Maybe I should check out the other provider, and see just how commie the media really is.

On a more serious note, I think I would really LIKE to see the Liberal Left-Wing Media come out from hiding, and show some vertebra.  Being loud and wrong is beginning to trump being correct and quiet in this land of 24 hour infomercials-that-masquerade-as-“news.”  Don’t get me wrong, it’s not that I think extreme nut-jobs on the left are better than extreme nut-jobs on the right.  But if you get lassoed around the neck, and some cowboy is trying to yank you to the ground (to your right), you don’t counter that by standing more upright.  If you don’t lean hard to the left, you lose your balance.  Savvy?  It’s increasingly polarizing, but without an equal amount of pull-back, the whole country goes off balance, and the “center” actually drifts pretty far to the right.
