Nice quote. Our current so-called "President" thinks he should be Emperor.
The present "emperor" seems to be reprising the role of emperor in the racist play "The Emperor Jones."
There is a great disturbance in The Farce . . .
.
Colorado primary is 64 days away.
Are you registered ?
Are you family and friends?
Do you know how to register and vote more than once?
According to President Trump millions and millions of votes were cast illegally in 2016.
Random reading this morning … and I learned the Trump Sad!-ministration is not the first to modify government information in substantial and important ways.
The failure to come to grips with what the Republican party actually is, despite all evidence, is an illness of the mind.
“Hickenlooper” can be a hard name for some folks, even those under 75, to remember . . .
I only scrolled down enough to see the quoted text at first. The reveal was…
There is a bit of context on the Biden statement on Daily Kos.
Don't be confused: Biden did NOT float the idea of picking a Republican running mate
What context?
Republicans did step up, we elected Donald Trump, and we will again in 2020.
In nominating a man totally devoid of personal honor, a draft dodger, a narcissist and a pathological liar, Republicans stepped down — way down — not up.
Pear: you need to clarify that Vladimir Putin was elected in 2016. Recall Eric Trump publicly stating in 2013: "we get all the money we need from Russia." Why else would Trump be so deferential to Putin and Russian interests? Maybe protecting those loans? Even Russian media is now talking about their "agent" in the White House.
Why bother with the Russian media when you can get the same thing from the Denver Post, Mother Jones, NYT, The Onion, Salon, Washington Post, Time and your other vast resources.
Except Russian media loves them some Trump. You just call out all other publications because they don't bend the knee for your God-Emperor.
You mean like Bill Clinton?
Yeah. Remember when Bill Clinton was bragging about grabbing women by their nether regions? Or calling Mexicans rapists?
Pear: nice try at deflection by mentioning Bill Clinton. It's not working. In three weeks, we'll see the 19th anniversary of Clinton leaving office. What happened back then is just marginally relevant now.
Tired of winning Predictable Pear?
Yep. Manufacturing in the Midwest has been in recession for several months. Farm bankruptcies are up, thanks to Trump's tariffs. Instead of coal mining jobs coming back, they've declined and coal companies have filed for bankruptcy. The USMCA trade agreement is a near carbon copy of NAFTA.
Yes indeed, Trump really knows how to "manage" an economy.
What? No article from Colorado Pols about how an armed citizen kills a threat in 6 seconds…..must hide from the PolCats……can’t endanger group think.
Leave it to a T***p-loving cretin like you.
How did the homeless man with a long history of instability and an ERPO get his hands on a gun?
The armed citizen was the guy who trained the rest of them..he had law enforcement training..he fired one shot. Had he missed, how many would have died in the resultant crossfire?
For you to crow about this, and try to make political points, is simply a reflection of the extent you have dis associated yourself from sensibility.
The exponential rise in hate violence in this country is directly attributable to T***p and the hateful idiots who put him in office.
That means you.
R.o.g.e.r. t.h.a.t.
What? No article from Pfruit Worm about how an armed citizen kills two congregants in a church in 6 seconds? . . .
Well, we did lose two good guys, so it would have been far better to have disarmed the shooter first with something like a red flag law.
That said, hell yes I'm glad the good guy killed the creep. I have long supported concealed carry laws if they include background checks and training, as the NRA supported Colorado law does. Gun Owners of America opposed our carry law reform.
A guy comes in late to church with a shotgun concealed on his person. Trained firearms instructor and deputy who is on guard sees him as suspicious right off. Still, drawing and firing a shotgun, he manages to kill two guards before the trained guy already on alert manages to fire a single shot. Had the perp been carrying a semi-auto rifle and a 30-round magazine, the bullet count would have been much higher, with all of the consequences of said difference.
How is this a good guy with a gun victory tale?
This was a 2-1 edge for the bad guys. Dylann roof killed nine good guys and lived to laugh about it. I salute the responsible gun owners who killed the bad guy and saved an unknown but sizable number of good guys.
good guys dead= bad thing
bad guys dead equal good thing.
There isno perfect solution but belt and suspenders work best.
Take as many guns from bad guys as possible with red flag laws and background checks, etc.
Let good guys and gals carry to protect themselves against the bad guys that inevitably slip through the cracks.
What other countries in the world have to post armed guards in places of worship?
Ecuador, Honduras, Syria,Afghanistan, Somalia, Guatemala;other places racked by civil war, where terrorists and gangsters rule the streets. Welcome to the world the gun fetishists have created.

Apparently there’s some fine-print constitutional right in America to kill at least one person first, before anything can be tried to take their guns away?? . . .
As far as I’m concerned, guns in church is Reason #357 to keep out of those places.
