The President of the United States is a Real Dick

This was photoshopped BY TRUMP’S CAMPAIGN

UPDATE: Oh, it gets worse. As The Independent reports:

Donald Trump‘s team have edited his face on to the body of teenage climate change activist Greta Thunberg after she was named Time‘s Person of the Year.

The official Trump War Room account on Twitter posted the altered front cover of the magazine on Wednesday, the same day the 16-year-old won the accolade for “turning vague anxieties about the planet into a worldwide movement calling for global change”.

Mr Trump’s team said: “When it comes to keeping his promises, there’s only one Person Of The Year.”

Listing the reasons why they believe he deserved the award, they added: “Booming Economy, Record Job Creation, Historic Tax Cuts, #AmericaFirst Trade Deals, Isis Destroyed, Building the Wall.”

The US president mocked Greta after she received the recognition, tweeting on Thursday: “So ridiculous. Greta must work on her Anger Management problem, then go to a good old fashioned movie with a friend! Chill Greta, Chill!”

It is at once astonishing and predictable that President Trump took time out of his day to publicly attack a 16-year-old girl. As Chris Cillizza explains for CNN, Trump’s Thursday Tweet won’t likely make a lot of headlines given everything else going on in the news lately, but this is messed up nonetheless:

On Thursday morning, the President of the United States sent a tweet to his 60+ million followers blasting a 16-year-old girl with Asperger’s syndrome who has rallied efforts at fighting climate change around the globe.

“So ridiculous. Greta must work on her Anger Management problem, then go to a good old fashioned movie with a friend!” Trump wrote of teenage climate crisis activist Greta Thunberg. “Chill Greta, Chill!” [Pols emphasis]

This isn’t the first time Trump has gone after Thunberg. “She seems like a very happy young girl looking forward to a bright and wonderful future,” Trump sarcastically tweeted following Thunberg’s speech in front of the United Nations General Assembly earlier this fall. “So nice to see!”

Sadly, Trump’s response is predictable in the wake of the Swedish climate activist being named as Time’s Person of the Year over him. Trump is a bully. And he has shown time and again that he has no qualms about bullying anyone and everyone. Let’s not forget that he poked fun at Carly Fiorina’s looks when she was competing with him for the Republican nomination during the 2016 campaign. And in that same campaign, Trump mocked a New York Times reporter by crudely mimicking his physical disability. So that the president of the United States would tell a 16-year-old with Asperger’s — a condition most distinguished by difficulty with social interactions — to make some friends and, basically, relax, fits nicely into that pattern of behavior.

Thunberg responded to Trump’s insult in a manner that really shows the comparative maturity levels at play here. Check out her new Twitter bio:

Well played, Ms. Thunberg. Well played.

    1. Oh, for Pete’s sake; every one of the great Presidents of the United States has broadcast public attacks mocking 16 year-old award winners. Please join us in January 2021 when President Trump is inaugurated again.

  1. Wow!  The multiple pathological conditions that inhabit Trump's mind are truly boggling!  And his toadies know they can manipulate him with these gestures of sick flattery.

Of course, to work for him,  means they must be driven by their own demons.

  2. And, humorously, no reaction from Melania and the BeBest crew, objecting to someone dragging "a child" into political discourse in this way.

I guess a throwaway pun on Son#3's name is much, much more damaging than a President addressing his 50 million or so followers & bots on Twitter, mocking the need for "anger management" of a child with Asperger syndrome.
