    On good guys with guns in schools . . . 

    The guard’s actions have been under review by a special prosecutor since the shooting.

     Court records say the guard mistakenly fired two rounds at a sheriff’s deputy in the chaos and one bullet passed through a wall and hit a female student in a classroom.  The guard later captured one of the shooting suspects.

    . . . what could go wrong???

    The moves are the latest illustration of Trump’s takeover of the entire Republican Party apparatus. They underscore the extent to which his allies are determined to snuff out any potential nuisance en route to his renomination — or even to deny Republican critics a platform to embarrass him.
