    1. Trump es una pendejo. (He’s an idiot). El Paso could take a clue from Puerto Rico and plaster these all over the city. Or, the motto on the fake Presidential seal: 45 es un titere ( a puppet).

          1. My University of Chicago Spanish dictionary defines the adjective stupid as either estupido or atontado. Person is persona. Idiota is idiot, as VG states. It does not list either culero or pendejo in the Spanish section.

My Berlitz Passport to Spanish also lists idiot as idiota. Does not list stupid.

            1. Thanks, mansplainers, but I’ve been speaking Spanish with native speakers for about 15 years now. “Pendejo”, means somebody stupid, an idiot, a fool. It’s like the Yiddish “Schmuck”, and in some cases it’s used the same way we would call someone a dick. The picture illustrating it in my “dictionary” is one of Trump.

              1. That's "hombresplainer" to you, la gringa pomposa!

And next time you claim to be infallible in Spanish, ask one of those native speakers to explain gender. Pendejo is a masculine noun. It takes the masculine article, un. Trump es un Pendejo.

Not una, which is the feminine indefinite article.

                Un.

                ¡tee hee!

                    1. Escribame solamente en español, pedo viejo.  Que es la problema? No tiene las palabras sin "Google Translate"? ¡Andale! Mas rapidamente, por favor!

                      ¡ja! ¡ja!

ps. "Pomposa" no es una palabra real en español. Tampoco es "Pampasa", R&R.

                      ¡ja! ¡ja!

                    2. I invite all our readers to google "pomposa in Spanish. " The spanish dictionary will give about six definitions, including "pompous" and "magnificent.". There is an entertainer who goes by "La Pomposa," obviously invoking the latter meaning.

with you….well, let's just let people make up their own mind about which meaning comes closest to your laughable claims of linguistic excellence and overall infallibility.

                      ¡Tee hee!

        1. According to goggle, R&R, culero can mean "asshole" , which I think you mean.  But in Salvadoran slang, it can mean male homosexual.  I'd stay away from that — it's an honor Trump doesn't deserve.

    2. Pfffft . . .

. . . even our pfruity pfanboy simpleton knows “those people” all hablo mucho ‘Murican muy bueno . . .

“You don’t need to go take a Spanish class to speak to Latinos,” Edwards said. “He didn’t learn Ethiopian… or whatever language they speak in Ethiopia.”

. . . you might just need to speak more slowly and loudly — but, they’ll all know exactly what you’re saying, believe me, sayeth the Pfruit.

  1. I'll assume this will means we'll continue to prop up Brazilian gangsters?

Trump promises more aid for farmers in 2020 ‘if necessary’ as China trade war drags on

Trump’s top economic advisor, Larry Kudlow, backed up Trump’s promise later Tuesday morning, telling reporters at the White House that the Trump administration will give farmers more assistance if need be.

China’s move to cut off U.S. agriculture from one of its biggest export markets shocked markets that were already leery about the sweeping new tariffs expected from Trump.

    1. At the end of the month, there will be a new set of stats coming out about "net farm income," including the second forecast for 2019.  [Unless the Dept. of Ag meddling reduces the capacity to issue the twice annual reports.]

A few things have changed since the March 6, 2019 issue.

      1. If I was a betting man my money would be a 'no show' for that upcoming report.  In other news…

    2. There May Be No Going Back from the China Trade War

Gold says China will still need soybeans, but he anticipates they'll either buy them from other places or grow them at home.

"There was a Chinese delegation in Argentina these past few days, looking to buy Argentinian meal, which they've never bought before," says Gold.  "We're forcing the Chinese to look at other markets or grow their own soybeans and ultimately that hurts us here."

  2. Latest quinnipiac poll makes it almost a two-way race for dem presidential nominee.

    Joe Biden 32 pct

    Elizabeth Warren 21 pct

    Bernie very old guy, 14

    Kamala Harris 7

    Buttagieg 5

    1. I think Bernie is locked in at 14%. Won't go up, won't go down.

I think Kamala still has an outside chance as the compromise between Joe & Elizabeth. Unlikely, but she is the compromise between the two.

I don't see the dems nominating the mayor of South Bend. Not going to happen. Hell of a showing though.

So yes, it's Joe vs Elizabeth. And I think in the general election Elizabeth will do better against Trump.

      1. Bernie is dropping steadily as Elizabeth rises, David, though msnbc's Steve Kornacki reports a surprising difference in their bases.

I suspect after Iowa, we'll be down to three or four serious candidates.  Bernie won't be one.

  3. “You can’t allow tradition to get in the way of innovation. There’s a need to respect the past, but it’s a mistake to revere your past.”

And yet we still have 100+ sales tax districts in this state.
