  1. Who will be next?

    1. Swalwell, if he "suspends," may be saving the DNC the headache of tie-breaking to determine who to keep off the debate stage.

But in case you are worried, we won't be short of white guys running …

Tom Steyer, the billionaire environmental activist who toyed with a 2020 presidential run before deciding against it, has told people he plans to announce that he’s entering the race for the Democratic nomination, according to three people familiar with his plans.

    1. Maybe no one will mistake Chris Kobach for the Kris Kobach who managed to win the GOP nomination for governor only to lose the general election IN KANSAS!

(That was like a Martha Coakley achievement.)

      1. I’m waiting for the other pants leg to drop on that one. One of Epstein’s clients was Donald Trump, and a young girl at that time said that $rump raped her at an Epstein party.

Epstein is potentially facing hard time if NY state sticks it to him. If he corroborates even in part that djt had sex with a young girl, that’s statutory rape at least.

One of my oldest friends is now a Trumper, but the continuing stream of accusations is getting more difficult for her to continue denying.

I think Epstein will implicate Trump at some point.

        1. Since when do rich men not get to have sex with young girls?
Seriously? We're all related to Charlemagne, right?

Most rich men are not going to take this very seriously. Most rich women either.

          1. What rich people might or might not think is not the issue. Epstein’s multiple criminal charges for sex trafficking, along with his client lists and photos seized in raids on his properties today – those are important to the SDNY court. And probably of great concern to Donald J Trump. His pet AG Barr has also recused himself, since Barr’s father hired Epstein to teach high school math at a private school, although Epstein wasn’t qualified to teach. (Per The Last Word segment tonight)

I get that you intend to be sarcastic and ironic. However, the Epstein case presents new legal danger for Trump, and for Barr. Whatever the elites think won’t matter.

            1. Sarcastic, ironic, and tragic.
              It's true.

Name some sex scandals where the rich and powerful men got "hard time"

              Heidi Fleiss?
              Wiener?
              Charlie Sheen?

Charlie Manson – yes, but not for the sex stuff.

It amazes me that the Epstein thing came back because his negotiated settlement (with Trump's now cabinet Secretary ) was just too lenient.

              1. Bill Cosby, Denny Hastert, Larry Nasser. It took multiple accusers, (Cosby, Nasser)  , being caught paying hush $$ ( Hastert), and above all the MeToo movement giving victims courage to shrug off the silence and shame, eventually got these scum behind bars.

Multiple accusers, MeToo movement, paying hush $$, and the prosecutors of SDNY. …..Epstein isn’t going to walk away from this again.
