She adopted an abandoned dog that needed a home. Been there, done that five times. God bless her.
She can name the dog “Rush” if she wants. The dog has won the lottery.
Dogs that size are so tough to place in a good home and it sounds like he lived in a bad situation, considering the former owner dumped him. He’s hit the jackpot finding someone like her. Who cares what she names him?
Let’s talk about McInnis some more. There’s a subject I can’t get enough of.
So she’s supposed to name her dog with political considerations in mind? C’mon Pols. You can’t be that hard up for stuff to write about.

Her dog’s name is not relevant.
Her belief in having “God’s Law” above the US Constitution is.
Our house currently houses two pound pooches. They’re wonderful dogs and, as you said, won the lottery.
There’s plenty of stuff to get on Norton’s case about. Taking in an abandoned dog isn’t one of them.
C’mon, Pols, it’s not that slow of a news day.

It only needs to be all bull.
Keep it up with hard-hitting journalistic gems like this one. Norton will just have to drop out of the race if you keep totally embarrassing her like this.
If they land a few more savage blows like this one, Norton will be lucky to squeak by with 80 percent of the vote in November.
Accusing her of saving a lost dog, God, that’s going to outrage the dog lover vote. All my dogs are rescue dogs and more power to her.

Both have issues but they are wonderful wonderful dogs – love them both.
They are incredibly loving. Them seem to understand that you rescued them. The last two still are with me, they were a bonded pair.

You guys took this way more seriously than we thought.
It’s funny that Norton would name a dog after Jack Kemp. It’s funny that Jack Kemp would be a politician she thinks about in general. That’d be like a Democratic candidate naming their dog “Mondale.”
What does this mean in the larger picture? Absolutely nothing, of course.

Wasn’t Jack Kemp also a less than inspiring quarterback once upon a time. Perhaps if we are going to name dogs after quarterbacks who are Republicans we could go with John or Elway. He won two Superbowls and played in four.
For all 10 years of its existence, by the way. He was a decent QB–good enough that the Bills retired his number. He played in five of the 10 AFL championship games.
