    1. Let me fix that for you Pfruit:

Stupidity Feigned hysteria and mass ignorance deceit are necessary the bedrock for Colorado Pols/Progress Now of the flaming pile of shit that was the once-Grand Old Party,  like bread and water like glyphosate and GMO."

    2. Don't confuse Colorado Pols, a band of merrie men and women stretching from yourself and CHB to Zappaterro and Death Pigeon, with the aspiring political bosses at Colorado Porno Now, Pear.  Such mainstays of Pols as MJ despise Porno Now for stabbing Dr. Aguilar in the back by attacking her health plan without even giving her the courtesy of a hearing on it, among numerous other sins.
Colorado Pols is about ideas, even yours, my dog-loving friend. Colorado Porno Now is about power, its own.

          1. Hark the herald bongo drums

            Madcow with a vision comes.

With mangled grammar and a logical chasm.

            He eschews logic for sarcasm.

            Then the online host proclaims

            drums can't substitute for brains.

            1. There once was an ink-stained poltroon
Who wrote 'neath a brash nom de plume
              His ploy was revealed
              His fate was then sealed
Now he trolls on the Pols…BADABOOM

                    1. Seriously, Bob…

You gave up a 30+ year career, just to be a naughty boy online, and you're trying to be superior? LOL

I know a half dozen Dominatrixes in Denver who could have helped you deal with your repressed urges, and maybe keep your damn job.

                    2. Boy are you dumb, Curmy,  that GDE-honed mind never quits working, ehh.  Dry your tears and face the fact that no one here respects you.  Nor should we.

                    3. I don't know what's funnier, Bob..

That you think I care about the respect of random people on the internet,

Or that you think\that insulting random people on the internet means you somehow have respect.

                      "RedGreen says:

                      February 20, 2010 at 7:47 AM MDT

all the journalists who’ve lost their jobs are now regular bloggers on Pols …"

The classics just never get old.

                    4. My retirement party was great, Curmy.  At age 64, with a six-figure buyout and a full pension, a lot of dignitaries showed up to pay their respects.  Ask Cary Kennedy about it sometime.

Ohh, you weren't there?  Too busy studying for your GED, I guess.

or maybe you just weren't important enough to be invited!

                      tee he e.

                      har de har

                      curmy the loser loses again!

                    5. You really think a lifetime of sitting on your ass typing is the only path to success?  Try again.

                    1. And the sound of the GED is heard in the land!  Tee hee.  No one — no one — respects Curmy the dullard!

      1. In general, I think Progress Now is a fine organization, and I would never call them "Porno Now". I did disagree with how they handled the whole Amendment 69 / coloradocare thing, and particularly how Senator Aguilar was disrespected and left out of the loop by fellow legislators Brittany Pettersen and Crisanta Duran. Pettersen is the partner of PNC's Silvieri.

So leave me out of your beef with PNC. Those opinions are yours alone.

        1. Your beef with Colorado Porno Now was loud and bitter, MJ, voiced here on repeated occasions.

And, no, you wouldn’t call it porno now. Vehemence and volume are your trademarks, not humor. As your recent misreading of Madco shows, humor and satire are often taken literally by you. More’s the pity. A group as pompous as Colorado Pomegranates Now can benefit by being taken down a notch.

I'm glad you're finally moving on from the health care debacle, but that doesn't allow you to rewrite history.

As for me, I literally have no beef with Colorado Porno Now.

          I'm mostly vegan.  I don't eat beef.

        2. So now you're trashing Brittany Pettersen for taking a position consistent with her constituents. She got elected last November in a suburban swing district where the Free Stuff Agenda doesn't go over all that well because it's the folks in those suburban swing districts who end up paying for the free stuff in higher taxes.

          1. No "trashing" has occurred. Pettersen (and Duran) were always free to take whatever position on A69 they cared to. My problem was with the process – Senator Aguilar was blindsided by the big press conference Pettersen, Duran, et al called,  denouncing A69, which was Aguilar's baby. It would seem to me that colleagues owe each other respectful communication and honest disagreement, even if that's a tall order for this blog.

I'm not interested in digging all those old posts up to prove my point, just because V or you feel like doing a little gaslighting for fun. We can talk about the merits of health care legislation when we have some new laws to consider next legislative session.

              1. You're the one still swinging from the chandeliers about people who disagree wth you, however slight their devia tion from the one true faith may be, bishop mj.  Nobody is talking about the merits of A69 — it had none.  The issue was just whether these leftie would-be political bosses treated la S enadora fairly.  They did not.

  1. Anti-abortionism is about controlling women and not "babies."  If it's about conception, what's this?

Chambliss, responding to the IVF argument from Smitherman, cites a part of the bill that says it applies to a pregnant woman. "The egg in the lab doesn’t apply. It’s not in a woman. She’s not pregnant." #alpolitics

    — Brian Lyman (@lyman_brian) May 14, 2019

Chambliss, a Republican Alabama lawmaker, saying the quiet part out loud.  It's not that the fertilized egg is a baby, it's that a woman is pregnant.  It's not potential life they're worried about, but what say the host has over her body.

    1. same as it ever was.

Someone should ask Governor Ivey what changed her mind from I haven’t decided whether I will sign it to signing it about 40 minutes after she had it.

  2. *rump has declared war against Congress.  Will the courts uphold the Constitution, or have enough Kangaroo court judges been installed to allow us to become a Banana Republic Dictatorship?

White House Counsel Pat Cipollone’s letter to committee Chairman Jerrold Nadler (D-N.Y.) constitutes a sweeping rejection — not just of Nadler’s request for White House records, but of Congress’s standing to investigate Trump for possible obstruction of justice. In his letter, Cipollone repeated a claim the White House and Trump’s business have begun making: that Congress is not a law enforcement body and does not have a legitimate purpose to investigate the questions it is pursuing.

        1. After toiling 90 minutes a day for  the taxpayers and seven hours as a right-wing blog troll, I'm not sure Poddy has energy left for a third job.   I guess he could always cut back a little on the time he gives the taxpayers.

          1. I follow Pols on FB. There aren't many comments. Lots of likes and views, not that many comments.

But at least Pols allows dissenting FB comments to stay up. Colorado Peak Politics deletes theirs.

  3. From that liberal rag Forbes magazine:

Two Charts Show Trump's Job Gains Are Just A Continuation From Obama's Presidency

[T]rump touted that there would be 25 million jobs created over 10 years if he was elected. In January 2017, I wrote that this was a fairly easy campaign promise when you analyze the data and realize that it will only take 2% annual growth of the workforce to hit this target.

In other news, if the greatest stable genius of all time would have put all that hard-earned  inherited wealth of his in an index fund he'd have $10 billion more than he claims to have now.

When he said he'd run our government like he ran his business….he wasn't kidding.
