  1. Anyone but Lamborn, the last thing we need is a disconnected Musgrave clone who is easily influenced by well funded GGG whackjobs. Anyone but Lamborn

  2. Crank 45%
    Lamborn  37%
    Anderson  13%
    Carter  1%

Jeff Crank’s enormous victory today across all six counties in the 5th CD shows how vast his support is.  Congrats to Mr. Crank. He’s run a clean campaign that would make Ronald Reagan proud. “Congressman Crank” has a nice ring to it.  Maybe Lamborn will drop out now…

  3. Lamborn drop out?  Not happening.  Crank is style, Lamborn is substance.  Crank will look better on tevee, says all the right prepackaged stuff, etc. and may even be a better candidate.  But the better congressman?  Doug Lamborn.

  4. Crank had a distinct lack of smear pieces yesterday. And in spite of that (!) he won with a commanding margin. Hmm, must have been SUBSTANCE that carried the day. Lamborn – or more likely his campaign manager – have gone WAY overboard on the smear and it’s totally backfiring. If he wants even a slim chance of winning he should fire whoever it is and just stick to what he actually thinks and believes.

  5. Lambron is the one with the proven conservative record. One that speaks volumes about the depth of his character.  Crank is nothing more than a lobbist hair-do who will say anything to get elected.

  6. Give me a break.  Lamborn is desperate.  I confronted his manager yesterday about their smear campaign and he told me that he would do anything to get his candidate elected.  He must consider lying about other candidates a fair tactic.

  7. Check Lamborn’s record – seriously. If you want an idealogue that introduces lots of very conservative legislation that never gets anywhere, he’s your man. If you want someone who pragmatically approaches problems with common sense conservative values and then actually gets something done… consider Crank or another candidate. He takes a lot of credit for “helping” with lots of bills, any of the Republicans in the House or Senate can do that… how many bills with his name at the top actually got passed?  Hmmm.
