   I am not sure about this.
   I am convinced that Fred hired someone to do all of Donnie's schoolwork.
   When I went to college (at the same time as The Dumpster®) there was little to no ID checking for exams, etc. My college ID did not have a photo–just my name and 04614.

   1. All of the evidence points to Donnie having some kind of reading disability. This is a recognized special education diagnosis, under the “learning disability” category. There are various ways that perception and cognition and processing for meaning get tangled up between the brain and the eye.

      *rump  does not read fluently (even from a teleprompter), the SNL folks said that he couldn't read the scripts, he likes to extemporize, he will not read long staff briefings, and he is fascinated with television, rather than print media. His pronouncements to the nation are limited to 140 characters or whatever Twitter allows now, and are often badly spelled or written.

      His book was ghost written. Even his wife, who at least has the excuse that English is her second language, copies her speeches from the last FLOTUS.

      So I think that he's probably had some kind of physical/neurological reading impairment from an early age. I find it sad, because it’s sad when an adult is functionally illiterate. I wonder what his teachers and Principals tried to do about his obvious reading difficulties.

      My guess is: because his family was rich and prominent, and Donnie was expected to inherit the business empire, they never admitted that Donnie needed help. He would not have been tested for special education services, if those services were even available in the 1950s when he needed them. The family probably hired private tutors, and to your point, they probably paid someone to take Donnie's tests for him.

      If he were a modern young person, he might be able to be successful, serve the public, even with a significant disability. But he'd have to be honest about it, talk about overcoming it, help others to get services to be successful, even with disabilities. That is also something the family never taught him to be.

      Granted, it's just a theory. But reading is my wheelhouse, and it does fit the facts.

2. I went to a state university and had a part time job (some of the time) for a family friend — some of it involved some time on construction sites, even.

   I've been known to "adjust" things when I didn't get paid.

   Do those three things count as enough of a similarity so I too can "relate" to Trump and the federal employees without pay?
