  1. According to the Denver Post, Ed Perlmutter finally came around and apparently put Nancy Pelosi in the driver's seat regarding the Speakership:

Putting an exit plan in place earned Pelosi the support of Perlmutter and many others in the small group of “rebel” representatives in the U.S. House who have been calling for her and other top Democrats to step aside.

Rep.-elect Jason Crow, D-Aurora, was among the handful of incoming members who pledged not to vote for Pelosi. He didn’t respond to a request for comment Wednesday, but Perlmutter said he suspects Pelosi now has enough votes that people like Crow can keep their pledges to vote no because it won’t affect the outcome.

  2. Moving on to other sensory input, Trump not only stinks … but he leaves a mess in his wake. Scattering papers by throwing a file folder — while still in view of the press corps — is yet another way to show Trump doesn't belong in a professional, polite, non-polluting world.
