We’re one week away from the BIG poll. This is a question we’ve been posing to Colorado Pols readers for months: Who do you THINK is going to win the race for Governor?
Remember, we’re looking for your best educated guess on the outcome of this race, not who you support or who you would prefer to see emerge victorious. The point of this exercise is to track how perceptions of the race are (or are not) changing as Election Day nears. For previous results, click Round 1, Round 2, Round 3, Round 4, Round 5, Round 6, or Round 7).
Who gets to move into the Governor’s Mansion in January? Will it be Democrat Jared Polis or Republican Walker Stapleton?

I'm curious … any of the (at this point) 5 Stapleton votes want to explain how you come to your conclusion that he'll pull it out and win?
My hopes, and vote, are with Polis. My fear is that there is a hidden anti-gay vote, as there have been hidden anti-black votes — Wilder, Dinkins, etc. So keep working those precincts. Stumblebum ain't beaten yet!
same here…..but I would hope that the hidden anti-gay vote is smaller than it was 26 years ago when the polls showed A-2 losing. Some progress has been made.
A great deal of progress has been recorded in the last 26 years, largely because a generation taught that sodomy is a sin died off, replaced by one more willing to accept people the way God made them.
But I'll still wait until the votes are counted to pop open the Pabst Blue Ribbon.
I voted for Polis in real life and hope he wins, in fact will be devastated if he loses. I have been around too long, though, not to believe that the republicans will make up some really awful lies before the close of polls on Nov. 6, which will give stapleton a boost. You might say I hope to put a hex on walker by voting him up on this little poll.
It's not lies I'm worried about, it's turnout! Knock, knock, knock!
Like I said, do another one on Jared's win margin. That's the poll that matters now.
