Do we know how the UAF are voting?
Usually they break Dem about 60/40. Anecdotal: I canvassed for Jason Crow yesterday and my first voter contact was 2 unaffilliateds and they declared that they were voting straight Dem.
Good day, fellow threaders …
the "model for election security" process of our Secretary of State has, as of October 29, brought us an up-to-date count of ballots by registered party.
ACN APV DEM GRN LBR REP UAF UNI Grand Total
1,184 8 216,653 1,175 4,623 219,064 176,143 92 618,942
I thought that narrow of a race compared pretty well with 2014 numbers, so I went searching a bit. Data wizards at TargetSmart are providing early voting info at https://targetearly.targetsmart.com/. Lagging a day behind in voting numbers but running them through their magic formula, here is their "modeled voter" comparison for Colorado 2018 and 2014:
Democrat 253,250 258,042
Republican 256,658 327,779
Unaffiliated 38,846 41,006
To my Jewish friends who argued with me in 2016: What do you think of Hillary now? Will you finally stop quibbling about Obama, Hillary and the Dems, and vote all GOP candidates out of office?
Rick Enstrom, former wildlife commissioner and unsuccessful R candidate in HD 23 a few years ago, is now an additional registered agent for R dark money PACs.
Some things never change. Little Ricky is still a snake.
What is Ricky's relation to former legislator Chet Enstrom, who I recall was a fine gent leman?
A grandson. He was elected county commissioner in his 20s on Chet's good name. It didn't go well. My personal favorites were 1) the cops busting his bong shop, and 2) getting into a fistfight in his county office with former state Rep. T. John Baer.
Little Ricky was dispatched to Denver, where he has remained.
Is he the sole owner of Enstrom's Candies? Or does he own with other family members?
No. The owners are Doug and Jamee Simons. Jamee is Ricky's sister. They have grown it to an international business and ship worldwide. I don't know what financial arrangements were made with Ricky when his sister and her husband bought the business from their parents, who had purchased it from Chet.
OK. Thanks for the info.
Edit: Nevermind…It was Hammonds Candy store, not Enstrom’s. https://hammondscandies.com/about/history/
I seem to remember there being an Enstrom's Candy store on 29th and Zuni in the Highland neighborhood in Denver when I was raising my kids there.
I got to admit that a fist fight between T. John "Ironhead" Baer and Little Ricky is one wher e I'd hope for a good clean fight from which no survivors emerged!
I was told at the time that witnesses judged it a draw, more the pity.
Donald Stink has renewed his attack on the news media as the " enemy of the people" in the wake of the bombs sent to CNN.
Great God Almighty.
And the stink is apparently having an impact this week, Voyageur.

Colorado Pols are disgusting slanderers. That is all.

That is all.
Nutter aspires to be pathetic. It would be an improvement for him.
"Slander: the action or crime of making a false spoken statement damaging to a person's reputation."
Moderatus — do you have ANY notion of legal standards for slander?
Even if we give you the benefit of the doubt and recognize you probably were focused on this site's written "libel" which you considered disgusting, do you have any indication of what damage has been done or how the damage was caused in a manner that goes beyond the broad guidelines of allowable political writing?
